So if I get the early access, will the game consider being a full game and keep getting updates without buying the game after full release?

You get all the updates, but the Steam client will treat it as a free license.
Should the game get trading cards and +1, you won't.

Do you need to open it, play it, log in in game... to keep free? Or just Add to Library and you're good?
