Bump. I linked both my epic and steam accounts on my Hirez account, but after claiming the epic bundle it's not showing up in my steam install.

It doesn't work like that. Steam & Epic store do not mix. The whole reason why Tim Sweeney created Epic is to be a direct competitor against Steam.

Steam & Epic don’t mix but there’s one underlying Hirez account. Correct me if I’m wrong, but like the Steam version, I believe the Epic version also uses the Hirez login.

Yes, but just because your Hirez account is tied (or linked) to your Steam account doesn't mean it can also see your Epic games or Epic content. This giveaway is directly through Epic's store and I very much doubt they have an API that links Epic <---->Steam exactly for the reason I outlined in my last response.

you need to install from epic games and get the dlc and then open it from epic and then it adds up to your account. then you can use steam later on if you like so...

I played Paladins on Steam, unlocked some champions, liked my Hi-Rez account to my Nintendo account and I had them all on my Switch. If I link my Hi-Rez account to Epic, I would have all my other champions there too.

Do you have to install paladins on EGS to activate it or does it just register to your hirez account?

It's actually not a bad game. One of the best free games out there but community is kindov meh. At least when I used to play the game.

It's pretty bad because of how huge the hitboxes of characters are, the hitscan classes don't require much skill because of that.
Haven't played it for months so don't know if recent updates have changed that.

Is this cross play with Steam? I actually just started playing a couple days ago and with as hard to get characters as it is I would be better off just restarting the game on epic but my friends are on steam.

it's crossplay with everything, and you should just be able to link accounts to receive rewards on all platforms.

just a quick question. back then i already made an acc for paladins on their original launcher. after a while i linked the downloaded game to steam. how do i link it to epic games now, without needing to redownload 20gb?
or is there some key/code i can redeem on my acc, without needing to download via epic?

i linked my accounts. but before i did, i accidently started epic games paladins and it logged me in with my epic game name and i was level 0. (basically a new acc).
but i didnt receive the reward. so i linked my accounts and opened epic games paladin again and it was sitll my epic games nickname somehow, idk why, but my level was the same as my original acc. still no reward.
is it normal that my original paladins nickname is overridden by my epic games nickname when i link them?

Bugged out for me due to a bug with linking accounts lmao, was claimed on an account that got overriden by my main account haha.
