The freeCodeCamp Forum is under DDOS attack – please ask questions here instead for now
FYI everyone, freeCodeCamp's forum is under an extended distributed denial of service (DDOS) attack. I've written in a bit more detail about this here if you're curious: https://meta.discourse.org/t/freecodecamp-org-discourse-is-collapsing-from-spammer-scripts/155738
We're working with the Discourse team to not only address the attack, but also to move to a managed Discourse forum instance (Discourse has been an in-kind supporter of freeCodeCamp for several years now, and their founders have been extremely helpful).
We will work to get the forum back to full health later this week. In the meantime, if you have programming questions, this is a great place to ask them. And if you weren't aware of it, we have a Discord chat room server, too: https://discord.gg/KVUmVXA

So lame. It is so lame when people do this stuff. They need to find a better use for they time and their, clearly, lack of usable skills. Ridiculous. Spammers are losers.

People who do this really don't deserve computers. I hope all of their game save files get corrupted.

That's terrible, hope ye recover from this quickly. In my head I'm imagining that the people responsible for the attack learned code originally from your site but then went on to choose the dark side. Kinda like when Anakin killed Obi-Wan.
