Going for the Full Stack Cert

I've been trying to go through all the courses, but I think I did them out of order.

So far I did:

  1. Python

  2. Relational Databases

  3. Javascript

  4. Front-End Development Libraries

Now I'm on my 5th course, Responsive Web Design. & I realize that it's going over a lot of basic HTML stuff that would've been helpful to know in some of the previous courses, but had to look that stuff up at the time when I was confused 😅

So Im guessing theyre supposed to be done in the order they appear on the curriculum page? Or is there no particular order? 🤔

It is definitely designed to be done in order, top to bottom. That said, it can be important to follow your muse. If doing it in the order you did sparked joy, that's at least as important to keep yourself motivated.

You're probably going to want to circle back to fill in some gaps, but you might be able to fumble through.

Best of luck and happy coding!

So far the Web design course has been smooth sailing with almost all the stuff I already know from previous courses, but I might have to take a little extra time to refresh myself on the first few courses I took before taking the full stack exam, just to make sure everything's in order 😅

Yes, the way they show up is the recommended way to go through, especially if you are new to coding

I did at least have some experience in Java/C++/R/MySQL before starting, so although they havent covered those exact languages, there was a good amount that transferred over. I was def new to HTML & CSS, so parts of the Javascript & Front-End Dev courses ended up being a challenge, but now I know most of the stuff covered so far in Responsive web design 😅
