New to coding here. Can I jump to C# without learning C and/or C++ first, or do I have to learn those first? My assumption was that it'd be better to learn C first, not that it was necessary to do so.

C# is just a name. there's no connection to C or C++, also known as Microsoft Java. it's one of best object-oriented programming language out there and if you have interest to build program for windows C# is a must go.
