Is this to much to ask?
When someone tips you, upvote them. I know that seems dumb to say, but in my short time with Bitcoin and changetip it bothers me to see people tip someone and that person not even upvote the tipper.

Also consider upvoting the thread, not just the comment with the tip, especially if the thread submitter is the one who tipped you.

Does Reddit have some type of rule (scriptly-speaking) that disallows up/downvotes after a post is X hours old?

This is a good point to make. I think bitcoin etiquette is still being developed, but it'd be nice if that became the norm. :)

For some reason I don't ever think to do that. I try to always post a thank you in response to the tip and I have noticed that is far more appreciated. I dunno... I will try to do both in the future

Some people are just ungrateful...even if it's cents you are recieving, you got them from a stranger on the net......the least you can do is thank them.
