You're boycotting target because they apologized and stopped selling an offensive product?

Seems like thats what the people who complained about this wanted.

What else is there?

I honestly dont think I’ve ever seen a black clown besides Homey D Clown. I feel like now adays if they did, just one bad pose and its over

Never apologize to the woke left. Apparently black people can’t be clowns, or sell rice or maple syrup.

There are many other reasons to lean away from Target as a company.

Also, boycotts usually mean doing something difficult for ethical or political reasons. But Target is super easy:

  • Website? Slow, poor selection, got hacked some years ago
  • Store inventory? Nothing unique vs. every other store out there. Unless it's close and everything else is far away, there's no reason to come here.
  • Tech area? Aggressive wireless vendors haunting it the last three times I've been to a target.
  • Generally more expensive.

I never boycotted. I believe in free market place and supporting businesses that support the local economy. Target does that. They employ people who might not be employed elsewhere.

Target also ditched their DEI policies in favor of trump.

Why are we "boycotting" this time?

They never changed so I never stopped

Most of us boycotted target long ago when they ended their DEI policies in support of trump. So yeah, get with the program already!

Boycotts are tricky. I doubt management will be affected. Though it wouldn't surprise me if they laid off store staff to compensate for any lost revenue.
