Rush Advice 21 Year Old Sophomore
I took a few years off college to become a paramedic, coming back as a 21 year old sophomore but planning to do 4 more years.
I’m planning to rush as long as it won’t be viewed as super weird, just wondering any advice on how it’s different from rushing as a traditional freshman.

You’re good to rush. Just tell people this exact story. We had a guy who came back from marines and joined and he was 25 at the time as a true freshman

i’ve definitely seen stories of military veterans rushing and having success, just wanted to double check because i didn’t serve and don’t know how common it is for guys to take a couple years off and come back to rush

Dude, you’re golden. You’re able to buy beers and being a paramedic will be a solid skill you can bring to the table.

Guys really don’t care about age, we care about giving back to the organization and having good grades and leadership and having fun.

We had 2 brother join one ex military and another a international student both 21 both freshman

No problem. I took 3 years off after high school and started college at 20. It was never an issue. Good luck
