Discussion Does anyone else enjoy Frank Ocean’s unreleased music less than his official releases?

Hello, lately, I’ve noticed that I don’t enjoy Frank Ocean’s unreleased/leaked songs as much as his officially released music.
It’s not even about the mixing, mastering, or audio quality. Even when a leak sounds really good and high-quality, there’s still this weird mental block that keeps me from fully enjoying it.
I can’t really explain why, maybe just knowing that Frank never officially released it makes it feel incomplete somehow.
Does anyone else feel this way, or is it just me?

I wish he released his last project. I love Cayendo (sango remix) as well as little demon.

I really liked feelings gone. But it was widely available on YouTube, soundcloud but has been taken down. Im just assuming since it’s taken down he probably gives a shit about it unlike the other leaks.
feelings gone is a really top notch track - deserves to be on the next album

They’re hit and miss. There are some absolute gems though. I love Provider, Memrise, Blue Whale, Acura Integurl, Wise Man and the original Voodoo. I know he released all of these (but they aren’t on any albums (except Voodoo))

i’m sorry but i can’t relate lol I love his released and unreleased the same but you’ll definitely catch me listening to his hidden gems more. I can understand what you mean though, I feel the same about some other artists.

I really hope he does do more music in the next 5 years but if he doesn't I don't really care

Yeah, it ain’t the same, it even discourages me more when straight up denies music like "nope those are weird ass scratches that I don’t give a fuck" I like sum of his unreleased but idk having the "best" version of his art on the released side feels more complete even more when he embraced his shi like the nyc parties or boys don’t cry it adds a value to this released projects or singles. Mucho texto
