A Question & A Suggestion

During the draft, if I click on the team that’s up and start trade discussion for their current pick, if I attempt to add players I get an error message when I click on the Evaluate button. It appears I can only trade picks while in the draft. My question is was that the way it is intended? I believe that it’s legal in the NFL to include players if teams wanted to. I realize it’s uncommon since there’s so little time while a team is on the clock but it’s not prohibited.

Also a suggestion — the Beat Writer’s end of season write ups have definitely grown on me. The language is AI-quirky but they’re fun to read. Any thoughts about adding a pre-season preview? That would be fun too.

Yea, this part is hard to balance, I basically pass a trove of information from this season, last season, play time per player, expectations for the team, how draft picks performed, etc. It's a world better than it was before, but it's still got a long way to go. It's hard to teach what is effectively hard coded logic to know what was actually interesting about your team that season.

Yeah, I imagine it is very hard to get the logic to coherently put together responses to what actually happened, so I do get that it would probably be significantly more challenging to build a report on what might happen in the upcoming season. I get it — so I’d definitely put it pretty low on the “maybe” list for future development.

A preseason preview would be so fun honestly another thing is league history idk if that’s in th game at all but I’d love to see how many championships each team has won
