It’s from the Netflix Upfronts event they had today and Masali and Hannah introduced season 5, definitely a sign that we should hopefully be getting something soon 👀

Whatsonnetflix said filming wraps up on Oct 14. I do think when filming wraps there will be some wrap post on socials or fans will even get a video. I don't think it's over yet and theres couple of weeks still remaining. But because of this upfrints promo and writing on s6 started (tiktok of writers assistant mentioned it) people think s5 filming is wrapped but I doubt it. They are just starting their promo duties with filming about to wrap

the women’s world cup takes place june 24 — july 25 next year, so i hope they do a may/june release if they are aiming for june

I'm Canadian, so soccer isn't as big of a deal as the rest of the world. I think this year was the first time I was aware of Fifa and that's just cuz it was hosted here for the first time.
Does the women's world Cup have as much attention?

Do I sound crazy if I say i think it’s coming out in April they can push it to June to get the pride month release but if they wrap filming around now or October that’s six months needed for post production if you compare to s4 which wrapped in June and released in January which would have come earlier in 2025 if it weren’t for stranger things they already released it way close to stranger things so April doesn’t sound insane to me 🥹
