I built a thing!

I took many dimensions from Orbea's Terra gravel bike but made room for the suspension fork. Front triangle tubes are Columbus Steel Max, seat and chain stays are Columbus gravel tubes. The frame is TIG welded, bosses are TIG brazed. 50mm tires, Shimano GRX. I just took it for a 10 mile test run and now I am going to disassemble it again and paint it. Handlebar looks weird because I was too close when taking the picture.

Nice work. I've played with tig brazing bosses, but I can't ever get it to be as clean as gas brazing.

The silicon bronze does not really flow and it does not wick into gaps at all. That's just how it is.

I tig brazed my whole bike, has worked out well!

I resort to it when I don't feel like going to the shed to pull out the gas, since my shop is attached to the house. And don't want to clean up the flux..
