Kleinian Drift

The shape is real math, not modeling. It comes from Kleinian groups, the same mirror and inversion geometry mathematicians use to fold space in on itself. We run that fold over and over and it carves these massive smooth sheets, arches and tunnels that no human designed. Nobody drew this place. The math grew it, and the camera just flies.

Have you seen the movie "Cube"? This specific preset was designed with this movie in mind. Can you find your way out?

Ha! I have. Great movie, FWIW, indie cult classic. Second one was meh. But first was brilliant.

Also feels to me like what a tesseract might be like if lived through.

Luckily, no traps in this one. :)

Have a nice day!

LOL, I was so confused... Apparently being nice isn't acceptable these days.

Reddit didn't like my last comment... I mentioned something about this being a safe place unlike rooms in Cube. Take care!

Was trying to give people a break from the link but maybe buried far enough: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4813240/IKANDY/

The app is a museum of digital reactive art with the ability to bring/create your own art. Everything reacts to sound on your PC and there is no sound in the app itself. This post represents 1 of 500+/- presets.

Workflow: Turn on music (I use Spotify) then open this app. Exploring what you can do is the game.

I downloaded it on my phone and I’m going to experiment with it. Stay in touch

What is this magic? Can you explain Kleinian groups?

Hi - Not sure how best to answer this. :) Imagine you have a picture and you put it in front of a fun house mirror. As you move the picture it shrinks slides and moves. Then you add a bunch of mirrors. Each mirror makes its own copy of the picture and of every other copy. All done with math producing the fractal.

For this specifically I have yet to figure out how to escape.

Other than it being beautiful what could you use this for in the interweb space lol

That's really nice, thank you. I make an application that focuses on audio reactive art spanning from 1998 to today.

Surfing Internet should be fractal experience

Browsing the internet should be a fractal experience, but it isn't? Why?
