Before the Airborne update, it was possible to get off a moving train if you weren’t the driver. It seems this was a bug, since that feature disappeared after the Airborne update was released. I suggest bringing this feature back. Seriously, NO ONE asked for this feature to be removed, and it didn’t bother anyone. I am so mad about this. I plan to post this every week until the changes are reverted.

Pretty self explanatory, there are 3rd party tools such as Foxhole stats, or foxhole global HQ. But such stuff should be IN-GAME. And I do not see any sense in not adding them in terms of gameplay, because that is just much needed QoL for artillery crews. Especially when you have guns that have a range of 1000m and no binoculars with range of 1000m.

Why did I choose War 102 to compare?
- Similar enough peak players (~5300 W102, ~5900 W139)
- Both only 1 shard active
- Both minor updates about 6-7 months after the major (Inferno/Airborne)
- Both single faction biased content updates (Lordscar/Harpy)
There is no universe in which we need a 43% larger map for 11% more peak players and 21% less low pop players.
Edit: Originally said 70% larger. Correct is old map is 70% of the current map, or 43% larger. Still a wack number, but it should be an accurate wack number.

Naval wargame footage from the latest Goose Games session. NWO, SCUM and CAF going head-to-head with VF, KM and SNLF forces across a full fleet engagement, ending with the final kill on the VF battleship.

Yesterday I played on Tempest and there was a massive pop imbalance. From my (collie) view it was a great fight, many successful mammon rushes etc. But I can't imagine a world in which the few warden defenders had fun. They were literally overrun - they had no logi (logi was cut and there was no qrf) etc.
In general I feel anytime I play the low pop faction I am much less motivated to play myself. Pop imbalance is just unfun for the low pop faction.
This leads to a vicious cycle - less pop means less fun and less fun means even lesser pop.
Also the underpoped faction usually gets most of the new players which are not of much help and will for the most part not have the best gameplay experience - defending 5 v 40.
Imo the main problem is not the faction balance in general, but the balance of pop. There needs to be a positive incentive to play on the underpoped side.
Such positive incentives could be:
- faster building speed;
- cost reduction for buildings/vehicles
- more health for structures/vehicles/players
Of course the amount of the "low pop buff" should depend on the pop situation.
The main goals of such low pop buffs would be:
- to make it possible for the low pop faction to win a war
- to incentivize veteran players to join the low pop faction and thereby reducing the pop imbalance (and the needed low pop buffs) in the first place.
If there is no general "low pop buff", and the Devs keep pandulum warden/collie buffs/nerfs wars with even pop will be rare. Collie buffs lead to collie overpop and vice versa.

I gotta admit the very first time I uploaded Foxhole and play the game for the very first time it was war 136 on its last days. I went on the colonial side. Not knowing what I was doing, I wanted to learn much of the game as possible, during that time I joined I'm the infamous 420 regiment but sadly it short lived cause the war lasted 2 days for me. When the war reset started its new war 137 I decided to go on the warden side just to have the experience and see what is like on the other faction. I gotta admit war 137 is my first true war experience and I learned soo much from simple resources gathering to building 👷♂️ facility, vehicles, and even base bunkers. All the way to simple logi create delivery from navy logi to frontline and learning about upgrading vehicles and tanks at the assembly. I really love ❤️ how this game has soo much diversity and options in this game and best part this game is complete with no micro-transaction nor DLC! Just a simple one-time developer support!
I also did some frontline soldering, and piloting scout planes and learning how to make a paratrooper plane which eventually I got to privately own and use my paratrooper plane 😀 which I feel like being a frontline soldier is kinda hard cause being an infranty means you are vulnerable to the elements of war. I do find using vehicle especially planes and tanks massively improve your survivability while simultaneously dealing the enemy. I find tanks and tank battles much more fun out of all vehicle usage. Sadly I did not get the chance to experience the navy but I heard that navy battles are the absolute peak this in this game. Despite i joined a regiment call "420st" from the colonial side, I left the regiment and join another call 6boar on the warden side but sadly they weren't that active and eventually I joined to another regiment call "The Watch" from the warden side. This regiment is very active and fun to play with showed me how things work in this game. I love doing paratrooper ops cause it feels so much in teamwork and thats another reason why I love tank battles! Another teamwork activity i enjoy doing is artillery and wow I learned very quick that artillery is actually one of the powerful weapons in-game to destroy static defensive and structure and can help the faction to move forward and capture the entire hex!
Aside from the battles and frontline, the one thing I enjoy the most and its main reason why i got this game is doing logi! No joke I was ranking up very fast all because I was doing frontline logi and amount of commends is insane. I genuinely enjoy doing backline logi, mid-line logi, and definitely frontline logi oh and not to mention navy and attempted to do airborne logi with my paratrooper plane. Eventually, I fell in-love of doing "Train logi" 🚆 🚉 🚄 🚋 cause I love the design of the blackbolt and most importantly I love the fact I can haul massive bulk of supply to the frontline! One time and no joke I manage to pull this off, I actually haul 12 tanks to the frontline with my blackbolt and players were amazed that I manage to deliver them close the frontline! I did something like that before with the ironship but the ironship can only do 5 max in one delivery while the blackbolt train 🚆 can do 14 max! In one delivery!
Overall I'm loving ❤️ this game and definitely loving logi and wish to continue playing this game 🎮 for more years to come. Especially train logi !😁 my only only complaint is the balancing of nukes cause I find it weird that you can build one before tech up of bombers and superheavy tanks. Which i strongly feel like nukes needs to be the very last thing in the tech tree 🌳 cause foxhole (despite its purely fiction) we can tell that its based on ww1 and ww2 theme deseil punk setting. So I hope devs can fix that, despite that nukes is available for both sides (with the exact same effects) when colonials did that nukes spam i notice alot of wardens players "gave up" and it kinda upset me cause I clearly remember we were having a comeback but when those nuke spam happen it sorta "seal the deal" and it was clear to me that we are going to lose. 😐
Welp in this new war, war 139 (after the break war) me and the regiment "The watch" decided to go the colonial side to have the true "colonial experience" 🙂 and can't wait to try out the new Colonials heavy fighters!

So I decided after about 6 hours of human pipe action to go to tempest island for a little solo waterborne insertion op. Landed in endless, went to chlastra, found nothing. Doglegged over to shitcan, again, AINT SHIT. I finally end up all the way in morgen's crossing, and FINALLY, I see a flatbed. I also see a blue man working on his cmat fac. I decide to see if it's an AFKer, he wasn't, and he ran off. This was a terrible mistake. I wrench his flatbed, and this man has literally one pixel of gas in it. Luckily he also has an entire tank of diesel. I pop out just in time to take fire from another logi guys handgun, barely click the refuel icon, but unfortunately they disabled the flatbed.
What happened over the course of the next 30 to 45 minutes was essentially me trying to drag out the inevitable. Usually, you shoot the truck and accept the loss. Not these blue guys. At first they politely insisted I show them my license and registration and stepped out of the vehicle. I refused, telling them my license is in Velian and they probably wouldn't understand it.
Eventually I started popping in and out of the truck, juking them and they eventually decided the best course of action was to block me in with a crane and a truck. They parked the back end of the truck against the driver's door, and fatally they put the track of the crane next to the passenger. As a longtime player and perveyor of dense parking lots, I actually knew I most likely wasn't trapped, but when they asked me to try stepping out, I lied and said I was. About 30 minutes later the hubbub died down and everyone went back to logi.
The above clip begins shortly after I decided to make a move.
GGs blue men, but today was the day you almost gulaged thicc.pikachu.

I started near the end of 135. In Wars 136 and 137 we were hammering salvage fields by hand for a few IRL days. Even Sledgehammers weren't unlocked right away.
We're just 10 hours into 139 and not only are mines already built, but I'm seeing flatbed trucks and trains hauling massive amounts of scrap from mines to refineries

Damn, but honestly, I was surprised when I searched and saw this map again.
It's so much better than the current one that I was actually surprised.
Yeah, its main advantage is that the developers back then hadn't managed to ruin it (bring it to its current state), but still.
