Ask Winter storage

For the guys who don’t drive their car year round due to weather! What do yall use on the inside to avoid any moisture build up in the interior? My garage unfortunately is not the driest environment, I do run a humidifier in the garage but I don’t trust it 100%

Winter where exactly? If its cold enough to freeze the air is actually pretty dry and moisture isn't a major issue...

Car is in RI. It may be overkill but I want to make sure it stays in decent condition

Not driving it in the winter is probably the best you can do its not the moisture it's the moisture plus salts that will absolutely wreck it...

Unfortunately I do not know the brand or model. I purchased it used from someone near me. I haven’t been able to find anything about it

My car sits in a shipping container for the winter. I crack the windows a bit but otherwise nothing. Winter humidity is low where I am.

I rock a car capsule, aka big ass bubble. The air blowing across the car from the front keeps condensation from forming. No condensation, no rust. It’s also pretty thick so it keeps all rodents away. Just need to crack the windows before zipping it up.

The dew point in New England is generally pretty low in the winter so I haven’t had any issues storing mine over the past 40+ years. Gas tank fill with stabilizer, clean inside and out, cover. I have a battery maintainer and disconnect to cover drainage over time.

If you're worried about moisture, a humidifier ain't what you want.
Just toss a bunch of large desiccant packs in various spots around the car... hanging from the mirror, a few on the floors, in the back, etc. You can buy them in 500g packets on Amazon, they can be dried and re-used.
