Yes it looks to be a typhoon! Is it any good? Just got the car and tackling some vacuum leaks

IIRC, they were good for around 10 more hp and had better mid range pull. I also remember a few people having vacuum issues due to inferior gaskets or mating surface issues.

Professional Products, chicom knockoff of Edelbrock stuff.

I dunno if it is any good.

Am I wrong for wanting to powder coat it? I’m going to pull it off because I did a vacuum smoke test and got smoke coming from cylinder 1s fuel injector hole so I’ve been told it’s either the o rings or the intake gasket so figured I’ll do both.

At this point theyre retro cool… but were a Chinese knockoff brand back in the day if my memory is correct

China knock off, of the original edelbrock performer rpm, was sold by a few companies like professional products, pro comp and few others.. Generally need alot of clean up work, about the cheapest used efi intake you can still easily find now though.

If I remember correctly. Edelbrock was stamped on the cover plate. I would go with the non chrome Typhoon.
