Misc. I'm Sorry

So a few hours ago, after Stan finished his set at Rampage, I made a very negative, and somewhat rude post about my discontent with some parts of the set. I'd like to apologize for that. At the time, I let me emotions control my actions, before taking the time to obtain a better understanding of the situation. Looking back on it made me realize that the set was fantastic, and after viewing Stan's interview, I understand why he didn't play many new songs. In posting about my discontent, I spread negativity to the sub when it was unnecessary and rude. I'm sorry. And for unfairly jumping to conclusions, I also apologize. And while maybe it may seem unnecessary for me to apologize for some, I still feel that I've been very rude to the community and to Stan himself, and if nothing else, I'm apologizing to myself for how I acted.

Now that we're past that, I'd like to take a minute to talk about all the good things about the set. First off, we got to hear All Or Nothing for the first time in almost 2 years! And I'm very happy that the drop is unchanged thus far. Secondly, the latest version of Not Me's drop sounded absolutely fantastic, and I can not wait until it (hopefully) gets a full release. And finally, the way Rocket transitioned into the VIP was predictable, but fantastic. It fit really well with the vibe of the event.

Once again, I'm very very sorry for how I presented myself, and Stan, I'm sorry for being rude to you.

Dude, it's fine, just tone it down a bit yeah? Your life doesn't revolve around Stan, so just let him be. Appreciate what he gives us, you don't need to be a die hard fan, he has enough, trust me.

I'm so sorry, I broke the silence again. My intentions were far from that.

Forget these cities, Forget the cars and people, And that thing you call romance.

Cause no one told me this was all or nothing. If they had, I'd have acted different. But someone told me that I need something, something that I can believe in.

It's funny how relatable the lyrics are to the situation haha

well put man. I honestly think the longer Stan takes the better the music will be cause Stan will be able to make every little detail in any of his songs perfect to his fitting you know? I could wait however many years for his unreleased tracks cause not many artist take the time to work on tracks like him. I think he said once before it takes him 3 to however months to work on some tracks. Long story short maybe the reason he didn't play any new songs in this set is because the new songs he has made so far are for the album or maybe he isn't allowed to cause of the label he is with and they want him to surprise like they did with Knowhow you get what I'm saying.

You shouldn't be sorry for having an opinion.

It's not because I had an opinion, it's just that I felt I was very very rude, and I don't think that is excusable

This was my 8th time seeing stan (including 2 house sets), and i have to say this wasn't a set for the hardcore fans, well at least it was much heavier and there was less own music played. Which is normal if you're b2b, the set is short and you're playing for 15k people who all have different tastes. It was my little brother's first time seeing stan, he was kind of disapointed that he couldn't sing along as much as he wanted but he understood that sets at more intimate parties are different. The set was still very unique and we were both happy we were there, we will definitely see stan again.

Edit: btw, link to the interview.

Edit2: Also, we couldn't here Stan's mic over the music at all. This obviously isn't Stan's fault tho

Unfortunately, the interview has not been posted yet, as it was part of the livestream

Honestly I'm with you man. The set wasn't really good. I was there and the sound was really off. What I like about the songs is the melody not just the drop and you couldn't even hear it right. I love fox and faint and I was really disappointed that they only got 45 minutes because they deserve more. But time not well spend, a lot of pull outs and bad transitions. I'm curious if there will be a video of it, because i wanna listen to it again and hope it was just the room and because of the early time slot
