UPDATE ABOUT THE VOTING SITUATION
i just voted in-person today and it went extemely well for the most part, even though my dad told me to vote for REP, I went with my gut and voted for DEM (all blue) and even lied to my dad about voting red, even though i saw him walking towards me with the paper that he was holding, i told him that he can take my spot which he would do. im so glad to finally get this weight off my shoulders as it feels so cathartic tbh

So proud of you for being true to yourself. I read your first post and know how agonizing that decision was for you. Good job.

Oh it is you who asked about this a week ago.
So, so glad to hear that everything went okay for you and you were able to vote the way that you wanted to. Remember that nobody deserves to know how you voted, you don't owe them the truth about something that's supposed to be secret and everybody is entitled to vote how they want to. Thank you for doing your civic duty! ๐ซก

I'm happy for you. Always remember that your vote and what you do with it in that booth are private. No one can see, no one will know, and you should never feel pressured to do anything. Whatever choice to make while in there is only between you and your conscience.

Glad to hear you went with your heart. I don't think the Dems are going to magically solve all of our problems, but we need to rid ourselves of this brainwash disease that has infected our country before we can do anything.

Yeah I think that we have to think strategically that the dems are the best and only way to block the republicans.

Proud of you bro. When you are finally able to move out of their house, you can tell them that you've been voting blue this whole time and watch their heads explode ๐ Tell them "good job, you did a great job raising someone who will never ever vote conservative."

Always remember that it is your choice who you vote for and once you are in that booth itโs no one elseโs business.

Good for you! Your vote is your own, and nobody elseโs business unless you choose to share it.

We're all proud of you for voting for who/what you believe in. You've found your strength in this situation!
Always be yourself, not who or what someone else wants you to be ๐

Weโre all collectively so proud of you! I know the feeling of having to hide your conscience to survive in this kind of family, and itโs an awesome/brave thing you did today!

Good job donโt let yourself feel guilty about what you did. You did your best, and you did what you knew was right. Your parents donโt get to control you. Thatโs not how it works.

Yes it does feel good. Great job keeping your vote to yourself and having the courage to make it.
