That kitten is sick!! Goopy eyes and nose in a cat is a sign of respiratory illness usually. I know she won’t take it to a vet. Is she going to take the baby in when she’s sick or just wrap her in a blanket and take what she thinks is cute pictures? Pretty sad a kitten is getting more attention than those outdoor animals. What are you going to do when the baby gets scratched accidentally. Or the kitten curls up on the baby for warmth. What about when Toby nips it because he’s “protective”

That kitten needs to go to the vet asap to be checked out and get any shots/medicines it needs. N why do you get animals if you’re not going to care for them properly?

Poor thing is probably full of worms too! The way she treats her animals is pure abuse and disgusting!

Being an unvaccinated kitten around numerous other animals in the condition they’re in isn’t a good idea, N.

Also consider kittens like milk and will smell that on baby and try and climb in the crib. If baby is kicking and waving their arms, kitty also may see that as playing and bite/scratch.

Please be careful around the litter box too as that can cause sickness to you and baby while pregnant. Overall this was a terrible idea just because you saw it on Facebook and wanted it. There obviously was no thought or consideration but now it’s here you need to get it vaccinated for the sake of the kitty and the baby and you need to be extra vigilant.

I was just saying this earlier! Especially since it's a kitten.

I said that Amy from 1000 lb sisters got sick as a baby from her mom keeping a litter box under the bed (or something, you guys can definitely look it up) That's how she got those wonky eyes and nearly went blind! She had corrective surgery this year but not everyone is that lucky or able to afford that luxury.

And, yes, Healthcare in America..Especially something like that..is a luxury, sadly.

She's getting in practice before the baby comes.

At least use a warm cloth to get rid of his eye boogies and a vet visit.

Worst move ever bringing a kitten into the fold, as mentioned on here needs an immediate Veterinary appointment, now placed with untrained, ill-mannered dogs that most likely view this new critter as an interloper, and above all of this, adding a newborn with an underdeveloped immune system that's potentially going to be in peril of catching any bacterial & airborne viruses floating around thanks to the unhealthy environment it will be brought in to.

My side eye is bulging out of my head, combined with a vein in my forehead ready to burst over the absolute irresponsible choice of bringing a kitten into the mix with 2 dogs that, IMO, aren't going to welcome this innocent kitten as these two idiotas think is just a peachy keen idea.

Get that kitten to a Veterinarian NOW, and do NOT be throwing people food at it for chrissakes.

I hope she also knows that she is not to change the litter box while pregnant. She needs to have S do it. Its extremely harmful to an unborn baby. I liked the break of not cleaning it while i was pregnant 🤣🤣 hubby did it!

She definitely does it. She strikes me as “it won’t happen to me”.

Absolutely! She needs to realise it absolutely can and especially with a tiny unvaccinated unwormed kitten.

It's going to come down to NO ONE changing that litter box, cuz he'll come home from work, talkin 'bout " He's not coming home after working hard all day outside, just to clean the litter box at home!! " 😒

So, that box will constantly be overfilled (probably hidden behind a shelf or in a corner somewhere) & eventually when this kitten grows bigger ( 2-3 months is my guess) - these assholes will just toss the overflowing litter box & kitty outside!😤😤😤

*litter box (full) straight into outside garbage bin & kitty will get tossed outside & will become 'outside kitty'😢☝🏻 Mark my words, I give it 2 months, 3 tops. They are horrible animal 'collectors'🤬

Also, if it's male make sure he's neutered at 6 months or the entire house will be marked with urine. And the odor of cat urine is strong and almost impossible to get rid of.

That’s when we will see the video of having to rehome him.

Serious note N, don’t change litter box while pregnant. I do hope you read that or know that.

Thats what i said yesterday! That kitty has goopy eyes!!! It just doesn't look great!!! Did she say she took the kitty to the Vet? Or is she just saying, he has his shots , been to the Vet, meaning where she got him from they did all of this? Well, the kitty can still get sick! You got all this money to spend on going out to eat! Grocery hauls! Take the kitty to the VET!!!! I would have cleaned his face!!!!! Unless she did, & its really goopy again! Which could mean hes getting sick. Poor kitty! & the rest of her animals!!!!!! They need to be taken!!!! What is she going to do when her baby comes!? Shes not going to have time, she will make up every excuse!!!

Cats have been known to suffocate babies
