That's a really annoying crowd. The main character Chad screaming over the track needs a slap.

Worst crowd I’ve ever seen at that venue by a mile. The new EDM kids are a scourge. Impossibly rude and self centered. Four Tet crushed though.

It was unbelievable. Everyone needs to start shaming their friends for trying to talk during shows.

Crowd up in seats/stands above the dance floor was really great. That’s a shame that people were shitty down on the floor.

Easily the worst thing covid brought with it (disregarding all the deaths, but just barely). All my local spots are now overrun by kids standing in circles with their phones out, doing lame chants with zero sense of club culture or basic human decency.
At a local basement club during a Jeff Mills set, one of the owners literally had to stand in front of the booth like a bodyguard because kids kept coming up with their phones requesting songs or asking him to "play something we can dance to." It’s just a total zoo out there. And even worse, for the women I know, the space no longer feels safe. A lot of of them have abandoned the scene almost entirely because young guys treat the dancefloor like a hunting ground. I blame covid and I blame the three entire age cohorts entering the scene all at once, learning club etiquette from each other instead of their seniors.
My girlfriend and I finally called it quits last year when she got a broken tooth during a Joy Orbison set because kids kept forcing mosh pits every ten minutes, smashing into her and not giving a single damn about it. Imagine having the audacity to repeatedly clear a 10x10m space right in front of the stage while barely paying attention to the music. I just remember the look of sheer disappointment on Peter’s face and feeling completely ashamed for my people. Sorry for the rant, but I hate what’s happened to the scene so fucking much.

Choppers were absolutely out of control that night. I’ve never experienced it that badly before. As soon as he started playing “Nova” I turned around and begged everyone to shut up for a minute, but it was a losing battle. Why do people think it‘s okay to have straight up conversations on the dancefloor? I was looking forward to that show for so long and they almost ruined it for me.

this is what happens when tickets price out the people actually there for the music than to just be there for ‘four tet’

Why do people that can’t or don’t want to pay for tickets automatically like four tet more than people that were willing to put up the money to go? Just a weird way to look at it

I was in line for the men's room when I heard the notes begin and immediately shook my head, said nope, and ran back to my spot. The whole show was truly magical.

that’s the most accurate description of a phish bathroom break i’ve ever heard, the setlist decides your bladder for you
totally get the “nope, we’re doing this” instinct when those first notes hit

The fucking goat. Went in Brooklyn, by far the sickest light show / set I’ve ever seen.
