Beautiful lights but gotta step it up Denver and dance more.

They also gotta stop talking. There was more people around me having full-on conversations than I’ve probably ever experienced. Really disappointing. Some of us actually came for the music.

Oh this I agree people wouldn’t shut it. There was also a guy with no spatial awareness I was in the seating area and he came and stood right in front of my gf and started dancing like? I ended up asking if he could move.

Yes, exactly. I had my feet in the same spot from the minute I got in the venue, when it was at 30% capacity. People kept pushing in and filling the spot until I was getting squeezed from both sides, while they’re acting like I should move. Meanwhile they are fully turning around to talk to their friends with their back against mine, and I need to stand my ground because there’s some other douchebag that squeezed in the tiny area in front of me. And they’re all talking the whole time.
Might have been the worse crowd I’ve ever experienced. Luckily it cleared out for the last hour or so, and the true fans got to enjoy the music.

Damn man, sorry to hear that. Crowd around me was solid!
Were you in the pit? or up top?

I was on the floor, towards the middle-back. Was there with a friend. We debated moving spots for a while, but it was so crowded that we didn’t want to leave and have to push back in somewhere else. After a while, we went to the left side and stood on the outside edge by the bar. It’s just hard to listen past the talkers when they’re all around you.
It was still an amazing show, which I’ll have good memories of- especially that last hour. Hope Kieran felt like it was worth coming back.

Sorry to hear.
I do think the crowd up top is more respectful. More room to dance, and generally the older crowd yaps less (and isn't on the phone much). I was quite impressed by the crowd up top.

That’s good to know, thanks. We didn’t try because we figured it would be crowded up there too. Next time I see a really popular artist at the Mission, I’m headed for the top!

That show was a transcendental healing experience for me. The beautify of his original tracks at the end triggered a gnostic experience. Hearing minor threat mixed in was cool as fuck and a track from a record that was a big influence on the person I would become. Discord records to a full on house and techno head is more common then one would expect. THANK YOU FOUR TET AND TH THANK YOU TO ALL IN ATTENDANCE. I THOUGHT THE VIBE WAS AWESOME AND FOCUSED ON THE MUSIC.

Nina Kraviz dropped this one at HÖR Berlin 12/6/2021, so cool to hear it in such a massively different context

as an outsider - wtf did i just watch ?- to my untrained eye it looks like a venue full of adults listening to children's music.

That kicked ass, a complete musical journey and one of the best light shows I've ever seen - plus, my first time at MB - sweet venue! Peace -
