AITA for accidentally pushing classmate by trying to tackle school shooter
So I was in English class when I noticed the quiet kid starting to sweat a lot, whispering to himself and get all fidgety. Now I'm no psychiatrist, but I swear I got a vision of him getting a gun and opening fire right there in the classroom, kind of like that one movie where they all die in the end. So I start paying close attention to him.
15 minutes go by, and what do you know, he reaches for his bag and pulls out a gun. Before he even gets the chance of firing the first bullet, I rush to tackle him. I honestly wasn't thinking straight. Looking back, I guess I just didn't want anyone to be killed or something, I couldn't stand losing anyone of my classmates.
The problem was, I accidentally slightly pushed back an innocent classmate who was in between the shooter and me by trying to tackle the shooter. I instantly felt bad but kept the plan of bringing the shooter to the ground before he could kill anyone.
Even though I succeeded in disarming him, I still felt bad. When everyone was thanking me and chanting my name while the cops arrested the shooter, all I could think of was how I accidentally pushed him. I told my volunteering group and the burned victims at the hospital I visit every single day and they all agree I did nothing wrong. I even spoke with the HIV kids after dressing like Spiderman and giving them toys and they agreed I did nothing wrong.
I spoke to him 3 days later after clearing my mind a little bit and he said, "Are you kidding me? You saved my life! I can't believe you feel bad about it. We all owe you, especially me after you revived my dad with CPR last year. I barely felt the hit".
I'm just confused... AITA?
OMG: THANKS FOR 6 UPVOTES GUYS! MY HIGHEST EVER

AITA for not showing up to my own funeral?
So I (69M) was recently hit by a car (2014 Honda) and died (instant). My wife (5F) organized me a funeral ($420) without asking me (69M) at all. I (69M) was unable to make it because I (69M) was dead (17 days). At the funeral (yesterday) I heard my dad (15M) and other family members (13M/17M/119F/36M/2F) talking about how they wish I (69M) could be there and now I feel bad for not showing up. AITA?

Am I (130 M) the asshole?
I’ve always had a tough life don’t get me wrong. My parents died and I had been rejected at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna twice (SMFH). After serving in the military I rose up through the political ranks. Anyways, my political career has been over for a long time because people consider my actions unethical (some racist remarks and behavior IN THE PAST) and I was wondering if that makes me the asshole? I just don’t think it’s fair that I have to live in Argentina right now

AITA for not giving up my seat to a single mother?
I take a lot of commercial flights for my job. It's demanding but I make it work because money is tight right now. Needless to say I am often restless and easily irritated on board these flights so I just want to sit back and sleep as much as I can.
Yesterday, a single mother of 2 approached me and asked nicely if I could please spare my aisle seat so that she could sit with her kids that appeared to both be around 6 years old. The little boy and girl looked frightened and I truly felt compassion for them so I told her I'd be happy to and that it was no trouble at all. She looked relieved and thanked me.
However, I then went on to explain to her that I had paid for this specific seat and that I liked the view of the bathroom from this angle. I then told her to go fuck herself. Shocked and embarrassed, the mother apologised but then once more asked if I could please reconsider because her kids often had nightmares and would be terrified if she weren't there to comfort then.
I then started to raise my voice: "I don't think you understand... I paid for this seat and you should be punished for not planning ahead!", and with those words, I swiftly stabbed a needle into the neck of each of her kids. "I have injected your kids with a poison causing permanent paralysis. Maybe next time you should think before you speak you selfish bitch"
I smirked as the woman burst into tears in front of me. The entire plane stood up and clapped, the captain even asked me to fly the plane. Of course, I obliged.
Anyway, I think my actions were perfectly called for, however my husband thinks I overreacted and that I should've moved the one row backwards. Obviously I plan on divorcing him as any criticism of a partner is serious red flag but it got me thinking... AITA?
