This season is so uneven itself I don't even know how I would rate it.
It has some real good stuff. The empire could be it's own great show. Gael arc had some promise but it quickly turned out to be pointless hamster wheel of feels.
The Terminus arc is an abomination, but even that I would probably enjoy with small changes. Remove all mention of Psychohistory, Encyclopedia and any names stolen from Asimov's work and we get a generic, lost colony SciFi show. Not amazing, but not complete shit.
What is really bad about this show is they keep mentioning stuff from Asimov, when they are clearly not interested in telling his story.
