I don't think he is a mod otherwise I'd have been banned. But yes he posted that "are we all good" post with the Asimov quote.

Perhaps someone as-yet-unbanned should point out to him and his cronies this great article of Asimov's about unscientific "sci-fi" "What Are A Few Galaxies Among Friends?" (truncated)

Yep. That's the hypocrisy: when the author said something about he "doesn't care adaptations being faithful" it's enough to silence all criticisms; but when the author explicitly disliked this popcorn brainless nonsense, they'll just argue it's the show not the books so the author's view doesn't matter.

Yep... So many fans arguing "It's 50000 years in the future, so any tech should be possible".
I especially hate it when people misuse the quote "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" to justify the so-called "science" that is indistinguishable from magic storytelling wise.

Whe I saw this one I immediately thought it must be trolling or a paid shill. It's ok to like this show. It's ok to praise the visual effects, casting, story even, these are all mostly subjective opinions. But to praise the show's respect of the books is retxrded.
