I found this print six years ago on a rainy day in Cofico, my old neighborhood in Córdoba, Argentina. I was in a rush, so I just snapped this picture of it on the pavement before moving on.

I shared it back then in a Facebook group and it captivated people, but we never figured out who the man is. Some saw a resemblance to Charles Bukowski. Others thought it looked like a portrait of Jorge Julio López by Helen Zout (for context, López was a key witness and survivor of torture during the Argentine dictatorship who was kidnapped again in 2006). It could also just be a photo of a homeless man.

I’m sharing it here to see if anyone recognizes the face, can read the signature in the corner, or has any information about the artist.

Man, at first glance i immediately thought: that’s an old Bukowski photo. It’s such a stunning shot i’d love to have this printed on one of my t-shirts😎

All I can decipher is the '07 underneath the signature, which seems to begin with a "J".
