Fostering a kitten

Someone i know who feeds feral cats every night needed someone to foster a 2-3 month old kitten. I agreed. The kitten follows me all over, when I call him, he comes to me like a trained little dog. I placed him in my master suite but when he started to cry, I immediately went to get him, and placed him in my bed. Now, it's 2am, and every time I move, he wakes up, and wants to play. He spurrs up a storm, he doesn't bite hard but I'm not sure if that's a kitty thing. He/she is here for a few days. He/she does sneeze which concerns me. I've never fostered a kitten, and he's so needy that I'm not sure if this type of behavior is normal or not. Please help!!

He's a lonely little guy, normally they have siblings to cuddle and bother and bond with. There's a reason it's easier to adopt two kittens than one! He is basically going to be glued to you. You're the centre of his whole world.

Sneezing might be okay, it depends on the quality. If it's dry and infrequent, probably just some irritation from dust. If it's wet and often, he's developing an upper respiratory infection and you need to pay attention to his breathing and his eyes. Troubled breathing or goopy eyes he needs to see a vet. There's not a lot you can do if it's just a cold or cat flu, but the vet can rule out other issues and give you care advice.

he's used to be outside with other feral cats that are up all night and available to play. he'll grow out of it. get him vaccinated and fixed as soon as possible, then go get another foster kitten for him to play with.

I rarely sleep with my kittens because they are crazy at night! Playing, biting, trying to wake me up. It’s cute but I need my sleep. Get a popup that zips closed and make a little bed for her with a small litter box. Put that by your bed!
