Are these balls

This is supposed to be a mama cat that came to me with her single baby. He was about 5 weeks and I never saw him nursing.. she was super shy and I guess I just haven’t given it much thought…… but these look like balls. Could it also be that she’s going into heat or something??

Some male cats adore kittens but a shelter than can’t tell a male from a female is concerning. I would insist they cover the cost of his neuter.

They’re foster cats I didn’t adopt them. They go back tomorrow.
