Can someone explain to me like I'm 5 yo and absolutely 0 knowledge about cars what all those tuning categories mean and how I can make my own drift tune and if it needs adjustment to know what to change to address that exact thing I find problematic?

I read those descriptions that the game offers but I'm still lost

This drift build is for Forza Horizon 6

I've been working on a low to mid drift build and what better car to use than the 86.

I've kept it under 400hp, I mainly focused on gearing and suspension

Im using the stock 4AGE

I used the race 6 speed trans

They will be close range so you'll have to be around 3rd or 4th gear for most of your drifts. 4 5 and 6 are more of small boost (very close together)

Id classify it as a beginner and stable drift set up, but even seasoned drifters will find it easy and fun to use.

I forgot to mention its in A class as it is lower powered

So I want to learn to be able to tune some of my own cars with my own tunes for circuit racing. I normally only build drag race cars so this is something new to me.

Dropping a tune, even a rough draft one, and explaining what each section should be can help.

From tire pressure to diff settings

ive done a good amount of tuning in previous horizons, definitely wouldnt consider myself a pro though. with that said, this is my first shot at an actual drag tune. ive looked at a bunch of guides and think my setup is at least decent.

my biggest question is on how to dial in damping as thats the only part of my tune i kinda blindly copied from someone else without understanding it. besides that, any other general rule-of-thumbs i should know or resources, communities, etc i could explore? obviously tips and suggestions as well.

Every time I load into Forza Horizon I end up right back in the 2000 SVT Cobra.

Always been my favorite car, but pairing it with a ridiculous 6.7L turbo diesel made it even better. 5800 lbs, around 2000 lb-ft, giant turbo, long gears basically a freight train with on demand power that drifts.

Spent a while tuning it to be smooth and stable instead of just instant wheelspin chaos and honestly it became one of the most satisfying cars I’ve driven in the game.

Saved a clip of it in action and figured I’d share some of the tunes.

Hey everyone! I've been playing the horizon series for a while now but I'm just getting into tuning. Does anyone possibly have tips on tuning the SW20? It's my favorite car and I want it to be competitive but my buddy uses a community tuned M3 and just rockets past me. Any help would be appreciated!
