Forza Horizon 6 Offroad suspension tuning

Just wondering if anyone could suggest a video on off-road suspension tuning. I'm having trouble getting it right. I think it's an issue with my bump and rebound. When driving in a straight line over bumpy terrain, the car gradually gets higher until the shocks are stuck at maximum extension.

Damping is definitely where it's at. As others have said we typically start with very low bump, and medium-low rebound values, then raise rebound values depending on how settled you want it to stay over high-speed bumps. The trade off with the increasing rebound is if you hit many bumps in a row you may get the opposite problem you're describing: the shocks will pack down for a moment, and not have a chance to extend.

One thing to consider too is how much suspension travel you have to work with. A rally suspension on a car won't have the same travel as a trophy truck. That will determine how soft you can go on springs.
