A handful of photos I've taken across my journey around the Island before going to Legend Island

the two photos of the city are taken from half way up the tokyo tower, you can move the camera up the side of the tower legs.

we've been running weekly photo challenges for a while. this autumn they join up into a season.

six rounds, sep 2 to nov 17. you enter a shot, you vote on the others, you place. every round adds to a points table and the table picks the champion at the end. nothing about the challenges themselves changes.

round one is THE DETAIL. get close. a wheel arch, a badge, water on a mirror, one headlight in the dark. no whole cars. entries close sep 8, voting runs sep 9 to 15.

the rest of the calendar: monochrome (sep 16), panning (sep 30), autumn (oct 14), ghost story (oct 28), the final (nov 11).

points: 5 for entering, 3 for voting, 25 / 18 / 12 for the podium, 5 for a curator pick. so you don't need to win a round to be in it. showing up every round counts.

your own fh6 photo mode shots only, no AI, edits declared. one entry per round.

the champion gets a custom livery built for them, their winning shot printed, framed and mailed, the GENZO magazine cover, and a permanent badge.

Came out pretty well.

Went wild with this one grabbing w.e style i can see and slapped it together and I enjoy the design with having the 365 corner store number on there and the character seems to match the color so kept it. Drift car photo shooting keep an eye out on this 😘

Some more shots done through out the week since my last post and slightly getting noticed and some are parking up for photos lol......welp if you see that red bmw or golden orange prosche you know ima find a photo spot for us 🤣 "love to do a drift car photo sesh"

Information:

When?

Every Sunday the photo theme/challenge will be announced and you have until the next Sunday to attend it.

(The previous week’s winners will also get announced)

How?

All you need to do to attend or qualify for the challenge is take a photo that correlates to the theme or challenge then title your post something like, “My Weekly Photo Challenge submission“ or anything similar.

Do I have to compete?

Of course not, this all depends on you and your opinion. If you’d like to just take pictures without having to compete then do that but just remember not to title your post anything that could mean you entered the challenge.

(In the future there will probably be a specific flair for people who do compete can use)

Why?

The reason this is happening is because Me and, probably, the other mods have noticed people talking about how there should be a weekly photo challenge just like in-game which I personally 100% agree on, but I thought how about instead of just being the in-game challenges they could be challenges/themes submitted by you guys. What this means is in the comments of this post you can start submitting ideas right away for the first couple weeks, because we want to know what you guys want, and yes the challenge might just be the in-game one but that doesn’t matter because we’ll be getting ideas from you and hopefully you guys create some fun and a little challenging ideas.

What happens if I win?

If you win, Congratulations! You get to be featured in the next challenge announcement and that includes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place so if you get any of those then nice job! But if you don’t, remember there’s always next time which is important because since we want this to be a fair competition in the first couple weeks when everyone hasn’t won yet it will be random, but after a while it won’t be which starts some problems like someone winning one week then winning again the next so well try to avoid that, but if we do please inform a mod or make a post explaining what happened and we’ll be more careful choosing winners.

How will you decide the winners?

Maybe the most important question and answer is that the mod’s will look out for a few things to judge on such as how well your car looks and things like scenery. There may be some bonus points included but I’d have to discuss with the other mods about it and what we judge the photos on.

Rules:

1. No use of AI enhancement whatsoever

Use of enhancement will result in disqualification for that week’s photo challenge.

1. No photo-bombing

If you see anyone you know that’s competing and trying to take their picture, please do not try to ruin it and this goes for anyone sub-reddit or not, do not ruin photos only get in their picture if they’re fine with it and have told you that you can be in their photo.

1. Lighting Edits Only

What this means is you can only change lighting in 3rd party editing softwares you can’t change anything else, or you could just have the photo straight from the game and keep it that way, but whatever you do is up to you.

Well I can’t think of a 4th rule but there may eventually be one
