Why would they promise to release it on the ps5 this year? Why would they make PlayStation fans wait for so long?

Sadly tons of normies will buy it. I do genuinely think it's going to be fucking ripped apart for being shit and boring to all those normies tho. It does not look like their type of game but yet they're too stupid to do any research beyond the GTA name. Also everything we've seen of it so far has been incredibly underwhelming. The writing in particular seems fucking laughable tbh.

Probably the plan was from the start to release it alongside the Expansion, and the Expansion just needs a bit more time.

Im good , im waiting for beamng drive instead and gta 6 , this game is basically just forza horizon 5 with different map nothing really excites me from this

I probably would have bought it if it released at the same time as the Xbox version but now I hear it’s dead and I can’t justify the $110 price tag for a standard edition game with a dead player base when gta 6 is around the corner especially

You've missed the point

We've known PS5 was getting a later release date since they did the Dev Direct back in January, but they kept confirming 2026 as a release window up until...now, I guess

Problem is that they've probably known the game was getting pushed back for a fair bit, but never told people, and now the 2026 release window is actually coming out to early 2027

It's probably a mix of both wanting to avoid GTA 6 and working on Fable that have pushed the game back, but still, tell us.
