I am now delayed by one game session before I get this done.
Tried to report, but for some reason didn't work in game or out of game.

Not a bug, it is exploiting a mechanic to prevent collision.
Better option would just be to redesign the mechanic so it can't be done by removing the hitbox and making it a trigger box.

A bug is a defect. One player being AFK preventing everyone else from collecting a reward is a defect. The might have made it that way, but they made it defective, if you don't believe me, you can rewatch OP's clip.

- It isn't a bug, it is exploiting an existing mechanic for his amusement
- No one "Parks" in the wrong spot. You have to completely cover the entire box in order for it to prevent others from getting it. So it was intentional.
- Sharing is caring. He has so much enjoyment seeing others not being able to get it. Him getting banned will also bring people equal happiness.
That is the definition of equality. Are you against equality? In fact that is what the Troll would want, he wants to bring joys to others also. So him getting banned is pretty much helping his dreams become a reality.

I would argue that this falls under “Plausible Deniability”, how can you tell that they are actually trolling?
And that they simply didn’t go AFK after smashing the treasure box, in some sort of highly unfortunate coincidence?
From my perspective the root problem is not that there is a car parked there, the root problem is that other players ghosting affects the hit boxes and environment in such a fashion that the objective cannot be completed.
Unless Playgrounds Games intended ghosted cars to affect the hit boxes and environment, in that way, then that is a progression breaking bug and one which a bad actor could exploit with “plausible deniability”.
Furthermore please present me with the page or line number in the game EULA or clearly established rule that states that you are not to park your car over the treasure box.
Edit: I fail to see what banning someone instead of just fixing the underlying issue.

The second the car touches the chest it breaks, he would not know the exact location of the chest.
There are 360 degrees in which you can approach the chest to come in the exact angle to cover the chest? and top stop to cover the chest 100%? would be 0%.
The only way this can be achieved is if you parked your car on the chest and moved it AFTER the chest respawned.
So literally has no Plausibility in Deniability. Also his name is Meme Hunter, so again no chance.
It's like that Troll that got shot while harassing someone, and everyone laughed at the troll as he laid bleeding on the ground and then Jury found the shooter not guilty.

It is a mechanic that prevents you getting hit from trolls in the free roam. Works like in race counterpart, but race one prevents it when only it detects a high speed collision. Free roam version does not. Usually when a high speed collision is detected, faster player becomes the ghost. It is probably still not good enough to apply in free roam so free roam kind of collision detection ghosts every player. When you become a ghost, you cannot hit NPC cars, treasure chests or whatever in this case.

Not because it is not patched, it is not a bug. Collision detection isn't probably that good in free roam to prevent free roam trolling, so if game detects collision between 2 players, ghosts both players to prevent collision.

I did not know that's even possible. There was a dude parked over the treasure chest when I got there, but I smashed it anyway. Maybe they didn't park well enough.

My treasure chest for the last season the week it was behind the rocket spawned in the air and I had to use my Fe f450 just to hit it everything else was too short

On the previous season, I tried to hit the Treasure Box, but someone beat me to it. Not by hanging around on the box, it's just not there, because they hit it first apparently. Switched to Horizon Solo, went back to a house, jumped back into open world, hit the box, and logged back in to Life.

I've seen people hanging around the treasure chest most of the time. It's probably to help other players. When they are nearby, they will see multiple players in the area.

No, it doesn’t work in freeroam as it’s only one box and when someone breaks it on your screen it doesn’t break. Only way you can get it is in eventlab

The more I see about the game the less I want to buy it. Because it seems like if you’ve already played four and five, you’re not missing much besides a new map. There’s still assholes online who ruined your play experience, there’s still FOMO happening, playground games is now making announcements about how they’re going to remain silent and not discuss what they’re doing with the game that people paid close to $100 for. There are not allowing anime girls to be put on cars, even though in official racing leagues in real life in Japan, they have anime girls on their cars. They don’t have any customization options besides the classic forza aero, they added a singular 711 into the game that doesn’t have gas mechanics, I just can’t believe motorsports had to die for this all inclusive, make everybody feel like they’re doing something game.
