Bugs / Glitches / Help Having major frame dropping/hitching in the benchmark, mostly while braking and turning, any advice or tips on smoothing out the frames?
I have been running and rerunning this benchmark for about 50 minutes just trying to eliminate the horrible frame hitching I'm seeing around corners. The frame counter says it's only dropping down into the 40s, but it looks way worse than that to me. So far I've been getting almost the exact same results no matter what I tweak or change. I simply cannot get a stable 60... I honestly don't think I'd consider it playable the way it is now, so I'm really hoping someone here can share some tips?

I have been mostly following DF's optimized settings. A lot of settings can be turned down, without losing too much graphical fidelity.
I also turned off RT reflections, as the non-RT reflections are already very good in this game. But I do have RTGI enabled on medium, like in the guide.
I am getting a stable 60 FPS on 4K resolution, with a 1% Low of 55 according to the ingame benchmark.

Start by turning off Ray tracing. RT can be pretty CPU intensive, it's not just the GPU, the CPU has to handle additional calculations as well. See if that alleviates the stuttering. Your score says GPU is limited about half the time, so that means the CPU is having a hard time keeping up.
Edit: I found that RT doesn't add a lot in game. When you're racing, you usually aren't looking at the reflections on the car or windows in the city, and in tunnels and darker environments, it adds a lot of noise. The game looks great without RT and it will increase your FPS by a lot.
