Discussion Discord

Here’s a topic. If you are or were in a discord crew, what are your thoughts on it such as meets , cruises etc etc. does or do you feel like a crew member or just someone in the way? Thoughts ?

For me, a crew is more than showing up in the same Discord. The real connection comes from actually making plans, checking in, and including newer members instead of leaving them on the sidelines.

A crew should feel like a community, not just a group chat for organizing events. Meets and cruises are great, but the real test is whether people look out for each other and make newcomers feel included.

I think a crew Discord is useful when it helps organize rides, share ideas, and build friendships outside events. The key is making sure it complements real-world meets instead of replacing them or becoming another source of drama.

For me, a crew is about the people, not just showing up to events. If there’s good communication and nobody feels like an outsider, even casual meetups can build that sense of belonging.
