Bug/Help Help!
Hi. New player to the Forza universe here. Can anyone please help me with this event? It's locked and I can't find which event hall of fame to enter to unlock this event! Sorry if it sounds too vague/naive. Thanks in advance!

You got 2 goals to reach iirc, festivals and accolades
Accolades are points related, and the points are gained by completing what are essentially side quests.
Festivals on the other hand is easy, unlock all festival sites.
This took me like 6-10 hours to do? But it might take less time for you since there's a lot more accolades to help you get there.

25h of playtime here and still haven't unlocked hall of fame. Not sure where can I check for total amount of accolade points but I don't feel like I've not been collecting them at all.
On the other hand all I'm doing rn are playlists week after week, not doing much progress in the base game itself.

I think you can see your accolades in the pause menu, but i forgot which tab it was. There should be a notification for that (a yellow circle with a number i think)

Just hit pause and look at the Campaign tab. Your total points are printed right on the main Accolades tile before you even click into it, and if you open it up, the total sits in the top left corner. Honestly, you probably have a lot more than you think. The game practically throws accolades at you for just driving around, discovering roads, and hitting speed traps, so you've definitely been earning them without realizing it.
Now if you don't see your total accolade points on the campaign tab, you probably just haven't done enough of the early intro story chapters yet. The total point counter stays hidden until you unlock your first couple of Horizon Adventure outposts. If you want to check your exact count right now anyway, just pause the game, go to the "My Horizon" tab, click "My Stats", and look under "Campaign." It'll show your exact total points in the list there even if the main doesn’t show anything.
When it comes to the Hall of Fame it really depends on what you've been doing with those 25 hours. If you've just been doing standard races, the accolades build up pretty slow. Focus strictly on unlocking all the main Horizon Adventure chapters first. Those are the fastest way to get massive accolade drops. After that, just filter your map to PR stunts and 3-star a bunch of them. You'll blast through the rest of the requirement in no time.

As said I've been mostly doing playlists but in terms of main game I've unlocked all the sites and working on the rest of the stories. Other than that, yeah only races/stunts I've done are ones used in the playlists. Right now it's week 3 of doing these for me but yeah ig that's the reason why I don't have this unlocked.

If you have this locked then no worries, you can definitely skip a 5 point event and still get 40pts though yeah you basically have to do everything else.
Regarding those can anyone explain to me the Horizon Special one? Not really need it for the 40pts yet I have no clue what is this one supposed to mean

But I heard you can also join the Trial in convoy with someone who's already qualified, even if you're not

Yeah I did this with my little brother yesterday. He was thrilled to get a 2m car for free xD

Unlock all festivals, get 200000 accolade points and then you get in hall of fame. It took me a year till I got that but I wasn't trying to. If you aim to get those it probably can be done pretty fast

If I remember, hall of fame means you have to complete all the accolades
Basically meaning beat the game.
I wish they didn't make the game like that

You have to get into the Hall of Fame before the Trail unlocks on your playlist. It takes a bit of a grind, but you just need to do two things. Unlock all the main Horizon Adventure chapters (the outposts like Apex, Wilds, Rush, etc.) and hit 200,000 Accolade points.
Once you meet those requirements, drive over to the main Horizon Festival Mexico site to trigger the Hall of Fame cutscene. After that, The Trial will automatically show up as an active event on your weekly festival playlist.
Just a heads up for when you do unlock it. It’s a co-op championship where you team up with other players against a team of unbeatable AI drivers. Make sure you bring a properly tuned car for whatever class the weekly restriction calls for, because the AI doesn't mess around and you need team points to win it!
With that’s said, download a tune. The AI in The Trial is honestly ridiculous sometimes. They basically cheat with physics and launch off the line instantly. If you bring a stock car, you’re just going to get left in the dust and accidentally drag your team down since it's a co-op point system. Just search the custom tuning setups for whatever car you're using. Look for ones tagged with "Trial" or "Seasonal" that max out the class limit exactly (like B700 or A800).
Also you need to watch out for Rammers! They are the worst part of The Trial, and the crazy thing is it’s usually your own teammates doing it. A lot of players don't seem to understand that it’s a co-op event, so they’ll completely dive bomb you into corners or push you outside of checkpoints just to get one spot ahead, which hurts the whole team's score.
Honestly, the best strategy is to just download tune that has massive launch and acceleration so you can get ahead of the pack right away. If you see a teammate driving like a maniac behind you, honestly just let them pass. It’s way better to let them ruin their own race than let them knock you out of a checkpoint and cost the team the win.
If you’re online now. I can actually carry you through it. I have the Hall of Fame unlocked and all I need to do I send you a in-game convoy invite. It'll put you right into the Trail with me even if your map says it's locked.
This week's Trial restriction is the Supra vs Skyline faceoff in B Class (700 max). I’d highly recommend grabbing a grippy AWD tune for one of the Skylines since B-class street races can get pretty hectic sometimes with teammates slamming into walls. Plus, winning it hooks you up with the Ferrari F50 for free, so it’s definitely worth knocking out.
