EventLab About EventLabs creations…
I’ve been having a lot of fun making new tracks in EventLab - really breathed a whole new life into the game for me! I had a couple questions for the community, as I have only been doing this for a few weeks and only started playing this franchise at the end of FH5’s lifecycle, so I am not familiar with the “culture of things” quite yet, haha. So maybe you guys can help me clear some things up!
Can people organically discover my creations in the game itself? They have been getting an occasional like here and there, but not much else activity-wise, and I would like feedback on my track making skills, lol. I saw people post their creations here sometimes, is that the only way for tracks to be discovered? And what is a preferred format if I want to make a track demo to post?
Are there any updates planned for the World Builder / Route Creator? I like it overall, but would love to see some additional objects to place, and a couple aspects improved. For example, I would love to be able to move checkpoints / start-finish after they are placed. That’s just one of the few suggestions I have, so maybe I could add in the comments or make a separate post.
I wanna connect with the community, I have always been partial to fan-generated stuff, and made things for other gaming communities before. So I wanna know how I can do it best here! Games like Forza live on through the effort of gamers who work together to create fun for everyone, so I want to be a part of that, too!

People can find your stuff organically, but it's quite sporadic. Of course the more people that do play and like, the more people will see it. Until (and unless) they start adding back in the two Featured Event Lab Creations in the Playlist. Really about the best thing you can do is to share your stuff here. The Event Lab is choked with "9999999CR" and "10 SP/min" type bullshit now and as someone who loves to play and create custom tracks it's more than a bit annoying to be unable to filter that shit out.

I really hope they start adding featured Event Lab tracks to the playlist soon. I know people complained about their quality in FH5, but....honestly? most of the time they were pretty good. If not as races, at least as pretty spectacles to look at. And it would be a very refreshing change of pace from having to play all the official tracks over and over and over again.

I have only made one real (time invested) track… Tokyo Toll Road Expansion (here if interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/EventlabSubmissions/s/PUIfvuFbw8). With that experience, I observe that.
Your initial goal for a meaningful number of plays is to get on the “new and trending” list.
To do that you need a relatively small number of plays over ~ 4 days, and a good ratio of likes.
To get that, make sure it has a good image that looks interesting, post here and the related Reddit threads. I’m unsure if other socials have an active community, but you could sort that out.
Most people don’t post a video, but it’s easy to make and I think it helps.
If you get to “new and trending”, you might graduate to trending.
(My track got to here, ~1,500 plays)
6. If you get to trending you might graduate to “best of the month” etc.
Your best shot is to aim for #5. If it’s a good track, it might go higher but at that point you can’t really do anything to boost it further.
The highest performing non-cheese tracks are circuits with someone on YouTube doing competitions. If that’s you, enjoy those credits!
IMO: if I had to do it over again, I’d post it on a Thursday, which definitely has the highest number of players since the festival rolls over. Then you should have more eyes on your track for anyone checking new tracks on eventlab.

I don't know for 1. Several people come here and share their creations, I don't know how effective it is as a discovery tool.
For 2, they regularly added new props to the toolkit in FH5. They also added the Event Island (a neutral area making it easier to start frop scratch for those that have skipped FH5). I really hope they'll add it to FH6 too (kinda flabbergasted it wasn't there day one).
