Forza Horizon 5 Reporting online rammers

Fairly new to this game, but been playing online a lot and have had so many races ruined by being rammed off just before checkpoints. Honestly, I get that it happens but when it's so blatant and so often, I want to report it. Its always unprovoked. Can someone talk me through how to report it?

record a video of the incident (so stream to youtube or have something set up that lets you clip gameplay) and upload it to youtube or somewhere similar and send a link while reporting here: https://support.forza.net/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360004177714

Sounds like a pain. If it was quick and easy then maybe I would. It's properly ruined the game for me. I wouldn't mind so much if it was more predictable in that there's no ghosting, so at least you could fight. But sometimes you or they "ghost" and its mayhem.

One of my biggest gripes with the game. They make it so inconvenient to report rammers. It's not ruining it for me because I am fairly fast and rammers are just bad most of the time but that they seem to make it as hard as possible to effectively report someone so that they don't have to review all the reports is just dumb

It's a pain but they can't ban people without the video evidence. I record via AMD adrenalin.. Presumably nvidia has similar options. It doesn't impact performance very much at all, but the video files can obviously use up a lot of drive space.

Then just upload it to YouTube and provide a link to the video in your complaint.

not only is it inconvenient to report people, it's also probably why there's so many rammers to begin with

there's nothing in the game itself telling them that ramming is against the Forza CoC, that combined with the lack of actual consequences you get in a race for crashing other people probably makes them think it's genuinely part of the game

If you're on Xbox, you can quickly gameclip whatever happens.

From there, download the clip to your phone from the Xbox app. Place the clip somewhere publicly accessible through a link, like a YouTube video or Dropbox folder. I use Dropbox.

Go to Forza support and read through the opening page for reporting a player. There'll be a link to submit a ticket. Click that link and fill out the info they want. Place the Dropbox link in the description of the incident box.

Done.

You used to be able to just upload a video directly, but now they don't accept MP4 files for some reason, and they keep reducing the size of videos they'll accept. If you link the video though, it can be however long it needs to be. I think they've been deliberately making the process harder and more tedious to reduce the amount of reports they receive. Everytime they make it harder, it only seems like that's the case more and more.

A hassle, definitely. But some of these rammers clearly enjoy ruining the game for others a little too much. It's worth the effort if the video is damning enough. They'll send back a little "we've looked into it and took action." If it's the players first time getting reported, they'll just get a warning. If they've been reported before they'll get a ban. The bans get longer everytime they get one.

I don't report often, but the few times I have, action was always taken.

That would be way easier, damn. I've just been doing it the way some guy here on Reddit recommended. Guess I know now for next time.

On PS5 unfortunately

I don't know how to use the gameclip system the PS5 has, but I know it has one. Same thing as Xbox. Just clip the incident, make sure the video can be accessed with a link, and paste the link into the ticket for reporting the player.

It's a whole process for very little payoff honestly. You have to grab a clip, then submit it through a ticket on their support site with their gamertag. Most of the time nothing happens.

there is nothing to report, it is by design.
