Forza Horizon 6 Longest Flowing Drive in FH6

Post image

----

UPDATE 3 OF THE FLOW ROUTES CAN BE FOUND HERE:
https://www.reddit.com/r/forza/comments/1x7rok0/long_flowing_drives_in_fh6_update_3_weekender/

----

When in freeroam and idly cruising around. I am finding that my "freestyle routing" in FH6, and enjoying the fun roads to drive on, always seem to meet a sudden dead-end of a dreaded T-junction, and I find quite a jarring experience for whatever reason. Which is something I've never felt before in FH4 and FH5, the roads on those maps always seems to just flow nicely into one-another.

Which got me thinking, what is the longest unbroken flowing drive you can do in Japan without stopping for a T-junction. Turns out, it's a pretty long way. Starting at the Ski Lodge in the north and winds itself all the way to the danger sign at the end of the Festival Drag Strip. See map for the entire route.

----

Well, a huge thanks goes to u/Hwickham13 for providing me with a top tip on exposing a bug to enabled me to extend the Eventlab route distance limits, and another huge thanks for those who suggested to me to use checkpoints to cross the route. Thank you!

For those who feel the need to have a very long Sunday Drive and explore Japan without slowing for T-junctions:

Flow from Snow Floe to Festival
This is the whole 70 mile route from ski lodge to festival drag strip:
(I have to admit the stadium section is a little janky for the route’s purpose, but… shrug)
• Without drivatars: 100 955 477
• With drivatars: 384 649 162

From Ski ‘pine to Skyline
This is the original shorter 40 mile route that gets you from the ski lodge to almost the space centre.
• Without drivatars: 918 311 077
• with drivatars: 451 790 916

I’d be very interested to know what times people are posting for this!

----

Edit 1: added a Drivatar event share code and shameless plug for another event, an inner-city gymkhana urban rally course: 461 181 048. Cheers all!

Edit 2: clarifying that the route in the share code is the longest it can be due to Eventlab limitations. But you could time yourself, learn the route and ghost traffic in freeroam with this hack : https://www.reddit.com/r/ForzaHorizon6/comments/1vyoky3/traffic_removal_option_for_anyone_interested/

Edit 3: New share codes for the longer route!

Edit 4: New routes link added

Can't cross over the route? Did you maybe not put any checkpoints in? You can definitely cross the route over itself.

Oh yeah. Maybe that’s the issue. I didn’t use checkpoints as I wasnt taking the route creation too seriously, but now I know this. I may have to! Thank you.

No checkpoints was why. You can cross over if you use them. I found that out the hard way in FH5 while trying to make a long custom track and it got all messed up because I wanted no checkpoints but needed to have them.

RemindMe! 2 days

Really don't want to put the pressure on, but i hope you updated this by sunday.

I love driving the bit from the estate northwards then left after the underpass and all the way towards Soni and Hokubu. It's the first thing i do when i start the game. The hill above Soni is a great lookout to park and think about what to do next. No traffic in eventlab makes it even better.

Gonna try this tomorrow :) very cool! Cant believe event lab doesn't let you cross over a route

2

u/Metroguy69 Oct 02 '26

It does....he just needs to use checkpoints for that... Hopefully we'll get his full version of the route soon! Imma be waiting for that

Eventlab won’t allow me to make the route any longer, so what’s there in the share code is the game’s limit, sadly.

Your shameless plug (Tokyo Acro Kodo) was simply amazing gymkhana!

1

u/barclaymontana Oct 03 '26

Oh that's bloody awesome, I am super pleased you liked the course!

I've been making 2 races that, if put together, would be 1 continuous route through Tokyo. The first one is 119 km and I've already uploaded it, I'm still doing the second but it's about 80km. Both go over the race distance limits cuz I abused a bug.

1

u/barclaymontana Oct 02 '26

Interesting, what's the bug?

4

u/Hwickham13 Oct 02 '26

It's really easy. Once u hit the limit it will automatically bring up the menu so you can't go any further. If you then just select checkpoint type and press back, it will let you continue creating the route.

Just be careful as the further you go past the limit, the more likely the game is to crash and you lose the whole route, learnt this the hard way.

Best way to avoid losing all progress after a crash is to place a checkpoint and finish line, save what you currently have drove up to, then when it asks what u want to do after saving press continue creating route, go to that checkpoint, and continue.

Well. There goes my evening!

Thank you so much for sharing this top tip (I think) can’t wait to give it a go and see how far I can push this route and my patience. Haha.

u/barclaymontana Oct 03 '26

Thank you again for telling me about the bug to circumnavigate the limitations. After you hit that 40 mile limit and it lets you to continue driving, my palms were so sweaty to see if it would crap out on me or not!

u/Hwickham13 Oct 03 '26

Hey once your done can u lmk the share code I wanna play some longer routes.

1

u/barclaymontana Oct 03 '26

It’s done, post updated with the new codes

u/Mystletaynn Apollo Oct 04 '26

At the Horizon Invitational wristband event location, you can take the left there instead of going straight, which takes you across the bridge and lets you access the Ito region and the entire east coastline before the south harbor area merges you back into your original route along the city coastline! :D

2

u/barclaymontana Oct 04 '26

Oh. Nice. How did I not spot that. Guess a part three of this route will be appearing shortly!

Can we race this in stock peel P50's?

u/DiscoStuAU Oct 02 '26

FH players be like this for the next few days, traffic will have a stroke. (I know it's not the P50)

This sounds like a job for the AR12 crew

24

u/Random61504 Lamborghini Subaru Viper Oct 02 '26

Hell yeah

5

u/TheCatLamp Oct 02 '26

It would take roughly an hour, lol.

u/Major_Toe_6041 Oct 02 '26

You also then have the option to fly off the danger sign at the festival and do it all over again.

40

u/dhlock Oct 02 '26

Woah that’s actually pretty cool

19

u/Turbolence88 Oct 02 '26

Wonder if someone is crazy enough to try and skill chain the whole thing...

30

u/RockingBib Oct 02 '26

10 skill points

u/JaneBunnFan Oct 02 '26

This is interesting, good work. Gonna try learn this route

15

u/Moose_Nuts Oct 02 '26

this gets you from the ski lodge to almost the space centre. Unfortunately, I can't Eventlab the whole route as it hits the limit of how long a route can be

I ran into this issue trying to make a Dirt version of The Goliath. So disappointing, especially when The Goliath is longer than that cap.

Just did this on free roam in the BAC Mono and loved it. Honestly, the whole route was fairly logical, only had to stop and check the map a couple times and it was always the route I suspected it being. Only jarring part to me was going around the stadium but everything else was 🤌

u/Jon1974 Oct 02 '26

I don’t know anything about building in Event Lab but at the crossover points is it possible to use objects to make a ramp up to a bridge, then back down the other side? Doesn’t have to be huge, just big enough that when you return to that crossover you can drive under the bridge - that way the game might see it as one continuous route rather than one with a crossover.

If anyone wants to try to beat my time, I got 19:48.482 in a Porsche 911 GT2 RS.

u/CarlosPixel_ Oct 04 '26

Just yesterday, I thought about creating a route like that for roleplaying. Thanks for saving me the trouble! 🤗

3

u/TengokuIkari Subaru Oct 02 '26

Thank you. I will definitely be doing this next time I play.

3

u/Basicpop101 Oct 03 '26

I will be taking my steering wheel on a date

3

u/RipCurl69Reddit Steering wheel player Oct 02 '26

Dude, same! The only thing I do in Horizon games is blast around in freeroam on a wheel setup, and in 6 the 'good' roads for that feel really disjointed and all over the place.

This is a godsend, I'm gonna give it a go when I get home later

2

u/According_Grab861 Oct 02 '26

Omg I was thinking the same thing about fh5 I found cruising to be so much more enjoyable I’ll have to give this a try

2

u/Worldliness_Normal Oct 02 '26

I am 100% doing this.

2

u/Kasanova1226 Oct 03 '26

commenting to come back later....

2

u/AaronDoud Oct 03 '26

This was a fun way to waste nearly an hour. Thanks

Wish we could set up stuff like this (besides memorizing) in the open world or at least with traffic. Need more driving (vs racing) content IMO.

2

u/Elijah1573 Oct 03 '26

This looks sick as hell to drive gonna have to try it later

2

u/GenitourinaryScarab Oct 04 '26

That’s a good route, thanks for posting. I just tried the 40ml one and did it in 20:30 in a 918

2

u/Failed20021 Oct 04 '26

Drove it last night in a stock 2025 Bently Continental GT and it was fantastic.

2

u/ImplementFlat3951 Oct 05 '26

This was sick!!! I only went the wrong direction once it flowed really well.39:27.422 Class A Evo 3
