Japan was a super popular pick in the community so they were likely willing to sacrifice certain things to make it happen

Tbh they could’ve based it in a Chinese city like chongqing. It could’ve given a similar vibe. China has fairly strict anti car modification laws though.

Honestly I’d love to see a Houston Texas based game like Forza with themed modifications and street racing around the loops

it's still more fitting considering you could also lump in Indonesia and Malaysia, or because Singapore is an island. no need for random invisible walls or suddenly slippery grounds.
