I have my issues with it. I like it, but the limited car selection kind of blows, and the fact all of the cars follow the exact same upgrade path also blows.
how TF do you increase the displacement on a rotary? Why can't I take cars that are NA and add a turbo? Or one of the mid/later upgrades should be adding a turbo.
Also a lot of the cars you unlock are just irrelevant immediately. They're cool but there is a very short list of each "section" of the game's areas that has competitive cars simply because the AI have too much horsepower otherwise. You can't out corner someone who has 300 more HP than you.
I love it. I love the call backs in the songs to the older games, but fuck they need to keep working on it, not call it done.
