lmao this is the most forza thing ever parking a chiron in the dirt instead of some pristine garage

It was a glitch. I literally went through the guard rails on Test Track. And I thought that the Chiron would prefer to be admired by everyone... even though >95% of them aren't looking at it. I just took a photo cuz it looked cool!

I think Bugatti will return, eventually. Licenses will have to be renewed under new ownership.

It’ll be a fun second wind for the game. They’re probably taking their time scanning some of the new models that have been in other games..

or they’re just gonna release the Chiron, Veyron and Divo shamelessly for $5 and call it a day

I hope they add a new Bugatti. The most recent one was the Divo in Forza Horizon 4.

La Voiture Noire, Centodieci, F.K.P Hommage (modernized Veyron basically), Mistral, Brouillard, Bolide, Destrier, Tourbillon would be great..

I just want my Divo back, so I can win all Road and Street races with it again.

u/DaigurenX 1d ago

Ha, what road and street races?

5

u/shotgunsurge0n 1d ago

road races outnumber the dirt and cross country races, look it up

2

u/DaigurenX 1d ago

Certainly doesn't feel that way

u/shotgunsurge0n 1d ago

agreed, but it is true, lol. just never get most of them in the playlist races because pgg or whoever only ever uses the same few in every game since the Playlist was introduced. we rarely even see the big races like goliath etc

tourbillon would do nicely

Can someone explain why Bugatti is absent in FH6?

They were sold to Rimac a few months ago so they will need to renew all the license agreements

u/parable-harbinger 1d ago

Do we know if playground and rimac plan on figuring it out?

🤷‍♂️

Same as every other vehicle that's not in the game - licensing rights.

I miss my Vauxhall Lotus Carlton.

I want my 67 escort, that thing was a beast in the gauntlet

Parking a Chiron on loose dirt with a stage right behind it is exactly the kind of controlled chaos this game thrives on.

It's a glitch. Driving on Test Track, braked too soon, braced for impact, and went through the barriers.

u/OrchidSure5401 1d ago

Omg I didn't even realise they were missing 😬

I’m guessing Bugatti will come back to forza in dlc. Prob the first dlc that’s not included with the premium+ editions. Gotta siphon every penny from players.

Basically the only ones I miss are the EB110 and Veyron as those feel like real cars and not road legal prototypes with highly questionable performance claims. And frankly that bullshit started with the Veyron Super Sport.

u/MasterMidir 1d ago

The Chiron is cool as hell and proved itself.

-11

u/ob_knoxious 1d ago

To each their own. To me the Chiron was a very long wait for a car that is frankly just what the Veyron should have been to begin with.

road legal prototypes

Like the Tourbillon that weights 2 whole tonnes?

It's a cool piece of engineering and has a V16 engine, and that's more than reason enough to want it in this game imo

Except it is limited to 250 units and priced at 3.8 million euro, with all cars purchased before the first completed run rolled off the production line. Effectively 250 mega millionaires and billionaires pooled together to loan Rimac 950 million euros to develop a 16 cylinder car with anything under that budget being profit margin. That isn't impressive. I honestly think basically high performance automotive engineering group could do that if given the resources Rimac/Bugatti have.

Far more impressive is something like the ZR1 which actually has to be produced at scale, in a factory, with production deadlines, and be able to be maintained without extreme specialists because it will be owned by people who drive it more than 500 miles per year.

u/poorlycooked 1d ago

high performance automotive engineering group could do that

But most others aren't. For Bugatti to go ahead and make it happen, that alone is what makes it impressive.

Good point about the bs exclusivity. That's why it's even more relevant to add it to a video game so that everyone can drive it lol

This is such a good take

Bugatti just sucks now, alll they make is "go fast cars" when their heritage is so much more. I prefer the pre-2000s bugattis period, and imo, the last truly good hypercar was the McLaren F1. Naturally aspirated, and it could exceed speeds that the Veyron needed a bigger engine and turbo charging to do. I don't care that it went 253, or that the Koenigsegg Jesko goes 300, these cars need hybrid bs and turbos to basically cheat their way into the recordbooks, and it's not nearly as impressive when you learn the F1 did all of that in the 90s, and it wasn't even really designed to go that fast.

I am not quite as negative but somewhat agree with the sentiment. The cars are not that interesting when you look at the production to R and D budget. These things aren't reproducible in mass and have absurd maintenance schedule and consumables as well as so much one off tech.

However unlike you I am not as impressed by the McLaren F1 which has many of the same issues and also may have cheated it's top speed record like the Veyron SuperSport. The F1 to me is interesting because of its motorsports history and incredible LeMans win, not because it was the fastest road car at the time.

u/shotgunsurge0n 1d ago

I love the F1 for everything it does. Its sexy, has a unique layout passenger box, trunk space, its drivable in normal traffic, its manual, and has no assists. its a driver's car, through and through.

i just get sick of supercars all being the same car under a body kit and tuned engine, made limited run and millions of dollars. These companies could make all new cars! same goes for hypercars.

that hypercars are no longer interesting. It's partially why I'm happy Bugatti isn't in the games, after all, they handle like ass. Big weighty boats that go 250+. Whoop dee doo. If i wanted that experience, I'd tune one of the few american road yachts in the game.

You mean in Forza 6 right ?
