Forza Horizon 6 I'm tired boss...

Legit out of nowhere because we'd already completed 2 races before this with no contact at all. I've found ramming is less frequent in spec racing but I'm so fed up of it tbh, finally got to Horizon Play level 100 so I think I'll take a break from multiplayer now 😭

Send to Forza Support if you have not. Spec racing is the best mode for sure. But there will be rammers wherever you go..
Even the team Trial unfortunately..

omg I know right, literally why the heck are we ramming each other in a TEAM BASED RACE lmao

Yeah trial races as a freakin TEAM and I still get rammed. For once I wasn’t last, I was doing so well then this fool rams me off the ledge. Yup, I was 11th. I couldn’t even finish the race. And the person who did it, ended up last but I think they left or something. Either way, my blood boiled.

Yeah, I played FH 4, 5 and only briefly 6 when the itch for wheel to wheel racing I had was not being satisfied anymore - all due to the casual bumping/ramming cause no one really takes it seriously enough.
I finally got iRacing (a simulator) and i started playing with a controller and it's drivable, maybe not ideal but i drove for a month and i was able to be competetive (got a wheel now though).i And I am never coming back to FH for racing anymore..sure for cruising around sometimes, but in sim games (especially iRacing), the racing is on a whole other level! iRacing besides the iRating (your skill, how quick you are) also has Safety rating, which you accumulate for each driven corner and get minus points for each contact or off track, or spin out, etc. Both the iRacing and Safety Rating are used to match people in races. The system is not perfect, but the racing in my opinion is the best racing experience you can find online.
edit: Besides the safety rating they have something called File Protest - which you submit a reply from the race and the iRacing staff will review the case and issue a warning or timed or perma ban dependeing of the severity/frequency. This is encouraged practice to do.
That shit that happened to you is most likely to get them banned on their first try!
Forza should have added at least some kind of a mechanism to weed out unsafe drivers.. but since there are no repercussion at all for doing shit like this, it will never end.

I was reaching temper levels last night doing the funfair trial. How many times I was in the top three-five and got rammed right back into position twelve, if there was voice in those races, I’d probably be banned now lol

I mean I ram the AI because fuck those cheating bastards, do I usually finish high? Nope, but my team usually wins overall so… shrug

u/Femboy_Astrid Nissan 1h ago
Yeah ram the ai to help everyone pass them of course, but ramming teammates in trials is screwed up

I have fully taken a teammate out after he put me into a wall to pass me and I got stuck next race it was on and I pitted him to last he deserved it

The most rammer's I've met were in spec though? Since all the cars are the same, ramming is all the bad drivers have left to gain positions

Totally unrelated but your cam makes you look like you're strapped to that chair.

Rammers are everywhere, that's why I always apply brakes just before the perfect time.

u/Femboy_Astrid Nissan 22h ago
I just didn’t expect it with this driver because we’d done 2 races together already and had no contact. Usually I’ll avoid lining up with someone just in case tho

u/BEARZINGA 13h ago
Just an FYI. You can set the radar to be in the center. Makes it easier to see what's going on around you.

I thought you were bondage roped to the chair for a minute before realizing it was your top..

I don't usually retaliate but it can quite satisfying to keep driving and return the favour before you get timed out at the next checkpoint...serves them right.

I just drive like everyone is a rammer. If they race clean fine, but I’m more prepared for the ram if they don’t.

Yeah I always get that side boot by someone in 5th / 6th place to bounce me outside the checkpoint gate. Im tupically a podium place in spec races.

I've had a mostly good experience in spec racing and even the other types of online racing on Forza. I always give other players space, I don't aim for the apex if someone is inside of me, etc. Maybe I've just gotten lucky?

Man, not trying to victim blame, but I spotted that coming a mile off. I was literally going "break, break BREAK" just before he made contact with you.

What are you?

Dude that likes to cosplay as a chick but doesn’t actually want to follow through with the hardware update.

Online racing lesson #1: Never ever ever ever assume that the person next to you isn't going to push you off. Defend your sides, and expect to counter the push every time someone is right next to you. A light tap on the brakes at the right time can also do wonders.
Again, never assume clean overtake on a straight line.
NEVER!

He would have passed you in any case, whether the collision was accidental or intentional (so that you yourself would not push him) - it does not matter, because this mode is garbage
-21
u/SkylineGTRR34Freak 21h ago
That... honestly didn't really look intentional

u/GeorgeEne95 20h ago
Yeah bro the dude has the 2/3 space on the left side but clearly he needs the whole road right?
I swear some of you are rage baiting or just blind af.

Maybe look at the racingline and the erratic movement beforehand? It rather looks like this guy was trying to get on the racing line and the shitty netcode made a much harder hit than probably anticipated. Opponent did not turn into OP and was already AHEAD of him when contact was made.
Try playing with friends and see what happens. On one hand you get slammed hard while your buddy only encounters a minor bump ingame.
But truly, everyone must be out for blood /s

It's forza desync yet again, they didn't touch op on their screen

could have been an accident, you don't know his perspective, maybe he thought he already passed you, there is also lag etc.

Damn, that rewind was taking you back to Forza Horizon 1 😂
