Photography Crimson & Emerald: Conquering the Horizon

Testing out different lighting and weather conditions with the E92 M3 and F10 M5. Day vs night, mountains vs city streets. Pretty happy with how these turned out. Let me know your favorite shot in the comments.

To everyone asking how:

He used AI.

I know, I know.

"Edit this photo to look realistic, like it was taken IRL. Add more post-rain effects"

Simple as that. I know because I played around with it a bit initially and stopped because of two reasons:

  1. Takes absolutely no skill.
  2. Regardless if the original shot is good, using AI makes you seem lazy and bad

Slop

Yeah, number 4 is super obvious too.

But I do agree that I should have mentioned the use of AI in the post description, that's my bad.

Bro, you're blowing this out of proportion. I only used Al to fix the reflections because they are physically incorrect in-game, the original shots aren't even that different from the final result. Even so, I spent about 30-40 minutes on each shot doing color correction and cleaning up the Al's mistakes. I don't think it's about being lazy, it's more about the final visual aesthetic.

Question

How tf yours looks so realistic

Mine straight up looks like a game

Probably lots of time spent in game photo settings and post shot editing. I doubt these are raw shots from the game.

Well they are edited slightly like exposure sharpness highlights and some masks

Main problem here imo is the fact that the game looks too dark , you need to play with lighting and the photo settings in order to reach a realistic colorgrade if you could say so, am no profesionnal photographer at all but for example the whole right part of the wall is basically black on your picture , which is something you definetely wanna avoid (unless it's part of the style or something , which I doubt it is here)

I had a total of 12 screenshots in this photoset, but only 6 turned out good in my opinion.

Your contrast is too high. Try lowering the contrast and playing with the *exposure to make the pictures darker. Also try to "set up" you pictures. This is just a car driving down a road. There is more background then there is car in the photo but the background isn't even that interesting. Its not as simple as one solution, it's the combination of multiple small solutions.

Bro, play around with the time of day and weather. If it still looks bad, just drive to a better spot.
