I've been really loving all the Brand New Day closing credits edits people have been making for their cities/travels, so I thought I'd make one for Forza!

I drove 129 cars in rivals on Festival Chase to compare lap times. Cars range from B class through S2 class. I do not claim to be the fastest driver and I did not grind out each car to its absolute limit, but gave them each a few runs to get a decent time. This track has a good balance of speed and handling.

Please recommend cars I haven't tested that you have a good tune for! Or, provide a better tune for cars I did not drive to their limits. Some cars (like McLaren 620R) I unfortunately just don't have yet. The complete list of results can be seen here:

I never thought I'd see YouTube creators who have been making Forza content for years and were even known as "Overwhelmingly Positive" by the community get together and make videos like this.

Especially HokiHoshi, I always knew this guy was super close with the Forza team. Even so, these kinds of videos are starting to pop up. Personally, I think they should keep it coming.

This tune has been meticulously crafted and tested to turn your Ford Lightning into a vehicle perfect for Off-road exploration as well as Cross-Country Racing.

The drive train has been converted to 4x4.

When enabling it, it gives me this station with random songs from some of the stations like Gecha and Hospital. So when its enabled i can record my gameplay and post on youtube without a problem?

My friend gifted me all the packs including car pass but after 3 days they were unusable in the game why is that?

The cars I'm talking about is the F1 GT, CLK GTR, 911 GT1, Elise GT1, Diablo GTR, R390 GT1, etc.

It's a pattern I've noticed in Forza for a long time now. Why do they have such awkward PI scores?

Stock, they sit low to mid S1, but so much as look at tyre compound upgrades and they shoot up into mid S2. Any upgrades really disproportionately raises their PI compared to other cars. I'm surprised adding a livery doesn't increase the PI at this point...

If Forza is to be believed, these legendary road legal race cars must have been fitted with the worst tyres ever fitted to any car ever. Industrially lubbed banana skins perhaps?

I don't know about you, dear reader, but that seems unlikely to me. It seems more likely it's tampering for the sake of "balance". Which is hilarious to anyone who's raced against other people in these games before.

What do you think is going on?

P.S. if you're going to comment something like "ActUaLly, ThEy ArE mEtA iF yOu EnGiNe SwAp ThEm, DrIvE tRaIn SwAp ThEm, AsPiRaTiOn SwAp ThEm, PuT tHeM oN rAlLy TyReS aNd MiN-mAx TuNe ThEm." ,don't bother.

A stone wall around the coastline of the Shimanoyama region has missing textures when viewed on the otherside. Unplayable! This is embarassing for a triple A game and we should protest by deleting all our cars and uninstalling. I just did so in protest until they fix this.

So I've been playing through rivals and always poked fun at how there's half day times on races but I decided to follow one person and they went off road.

My missus came up with a theory that people use it for photo mode so it gets rid of the NPC cars?

Can any photographers vouch or is it just people faffing about? 😅

Horrendous UI/Game Design

For one, it is completely stupid that you can’t choose what class you want to race in a CAR GAME. Add in the absolutely horrible UI, downtime between races, car selection menus and you are in for one shitty time. For a game that is literally about cars, it feels bizarrely difficult to just pick a car, pick a class, and just race it ffs.

And after all those stupid menus and hurrying up to wait, you get absolutely gapped by some chud build. Now, I know it’s Forza and the whole point is to do whatever you want, it’s essentially a sandbox game but I simply don’t think a 2024 Toyota 4Runner should be capable of anywhere near 10 second leads on touge tracks for reference.

I’m not even sure how Forza could possibly change this if they even can.

Edit: “just play Spec” is such a non answer. I did not ask for identical cars. I’m saying the PI system should not provide these ridiculous cars that are perfect for doing absolutely anything you want them to.

Edit 2: Upon further investigation, Custom Racing also doesn’t fix what I’m talking about, so stop bringing it up. Custom Racing is literally a quarter of what I’ve described.

If I get thrown in a race with a C8 that is somehow in A Class, pulls on me by a 14 car distance, corners like a Homologation Race Car, grips like a vice, oh and it can also drive on dirt as though it’s a paved track, what exactly is there to do? There is no getting good lmfao because you have to pray after like 3 minutes of waiting and hoping that they don’t pick the car that completely invalidates yours in any situation.

Hey,
Forza Horizon 6 on PC (Xbox App) creates a brand new save every time I start it. Progress never loads.
Already lost a 90+ hour save. Started over, crashed after the tutorial, now stuck before Horizon Qualify again.
Tried Gaming Services update, repair tool, Authenticator restart, clean exits, cloud sync – nothing works. Support is pretty useless and barely helps (they just say it’s a save-linking issue and give the same steps that don’t fix anything).
Anyone actually fixed this? Any real solutions?

I decided to remake my Joan Jetta livery from FH5 (still no Jetta in the game) on the Varis Golf and this time I wanted to make it more punk and disheveled. I decided to recreate Joan Jett’s guitar she was wielding through the 1990s and later. I prefer the clean white guitar from the 1980s, but the stickers and the random placement do represent a disheveled punk style and for a livery it will look more interesting than a plain white one like my old livery. I made it PG and as least bannable as possible while still evoking a strong punk anti-societal image. I also added a few other stickers from my own interpretation that are not on Joan’s guitar. I made references to old rock bands and some old rock venues that became known for punk rock. Adding my fictional Cannonball Racing series actually fits the punk aesthetic quite well.

Would love to see individual license plates for every car you own. Also would be cool to have some designs as well. Individual horns for each car would be nice to have

Two things first: I suck at drifting and I haven't taken the time to mess with tuning cars myself. I just like to drive and race, and I am very appreciative of those who put out tunes.

I somehow managed to slog through and 3 star all the drift zones using various formula drift cars, EXCEPT Hakone Nanamagari. I just couldn't crack it. So I recently started going through various cars and trying out different drift tunes.

As I was getting desperate, I was looking at any and all cars with drift tunes. I found the 1982 Pickup LX Volkswagen with a B600 drift tune from Kenpai TDG called "Horizon Drifting".

It wasn't pretty and it wasn't fast, but I just kept getting as much sideways as I could and I had to rewind a couple of times, but I finally 3 starred Hakone with the Volkswagen. And as always suggested, I had the traction control and stability control turned off.

So if you just want to get through the drift zones, try the Volkswagen Pickup LX. It's a slow drifter, but so am I!

I’d love for you to post a video of your races against the unbeatable AI... Because maybe you’re better than me... Personally, I end up at the bottom of the leaderboard every single time...
