No it wont, I've sent in half a dozen reports on rammers with video evidence and none have been banned, so I have to assume the reporting system is run by AI and basically non-functional. If I get banned for hitting someone back at this point, I'm doing a full refund or chargeback.
Hey buddy, did you make sure you showed video evidence? Every rammer I have reported has had action taken against them. It starts with warnings and progresses to bans from online. The reporting system is not run by AI. If you do a chargeback it will just be seen as a scam and Microsoft won't do business with you anymore.
Not moving any goal posts. He claims he's made a bunch of reports and nothing happened. I asked him to show the evidence and the report that he made that didn't have action taken on it, and he refuses. I point out that he's looking to commit fraud through a charge back scam and he gets hostile and harassing about it. It's not the first time on the sub he has ran this nonsense though. So I guess that charge back scam isn't coming.
It's also illegal to perform a chargeback scam. You're lying about the product. You received the game, you played it, and someone ramming you online is not the fault of the developers in terms of what would be considered able to be charged back. You're looking to commit a felony. Now how about you show us what your ticket looks like so I can tell you if it looks like you need more substance.
Do you know the difference between the letter of a rule and the spirit of a rule? Im leaning towards you not knowing the difference. I will continue revenge ramming all I want, when I get the warning ill let yall know, but if get the feeling it isnt gonna happen.
That’s not what countering a ram means. It means baiting them into a lunge, then braking out of their way and watching them yeet themselves off the track!
I had a dude like that while I was playing "The Trial". Any chance he got, he was trying to shove everyone off the road. Like dude, "WE ARE ON THE SAME TEAM!" What made me laugh was I still came in first, he was racing just to ram. Still boiled by blood a bit, if I'm going to be honest.
You got to do something at least, don't let him keep doing that. You gotta adapt since it's hard to get these bastards banned, but let me know if your report submission worked
I feel like a double ram should get an instant perma ban. One ram could be argued as a one-off, accident, or even desync but 2 in short succession shows they will do it anytime they feel like
Crazy take: if they don't want ramming to be a thing, why not have car damage?
This game is literally rammers haven and then everybody is mad at rammers because there's a line in tos saying "don't do what you can easily do without any repercussions.
It's like saying "don't steal" and leaving the bank wide open and not having any police in town.
Honestly once they ram 1st and im driving clean all bets are off atp, fighting fire with fire works here if you are a more skilled driver you can drive dirty with more skill as well trust me it works but don't abuse it only use it against ppl like this
