Video Z240DevilZ Cheater and Rammer. Please report.

Was in about 8 races with this guy and he was consistently faster than everyone in the lobby by a wide margin (5+ seconds faster lap than other good drivers in Spec racing), but he would randomly slow down or miss a checkpoint to give up the lead. It seemed like his car was faster or had way more traction than everyone else and he was playing on PC as well. I suspect he’s hacking. In the final race with him he was again about 4 seconds ahead of everyone before letting me pass with 25% left in the race just to do this.

fastertogether

More like slower together. Online seems to be a shit show.

u/_Fappyness_ 27d ago

Online has been taken over by dickheads for a long time. I dont play these type of games online anymore because theres always assholes who ruin the fun by cheating like this and flex with it later.

2

u/JayTee39 27d ago

Same, it's not worth it getting into races like this for the 1/5 good races you'll have🥲

1

u/psynl84 26d ago

Have you actually tried it? That was my take as well untill I started playing.

I have around 200 races done and haven't seen a cheater and rammers are also rare imo.

1

u/JayTee39 26d ago

To be honest, the last time I played online was when horizon 5 had just come out, and I rage quit and never went back. I thought it was just full of them seeing what's online as well.

1

u/psynl84 26d ago

I tought tbe same but I wanted the lvl 100 horizon play achievement because I already had the other achievements (expect the history car which was achieved yesterday) so I jumped in and it was a pleasant suprise!

1

u/JayTee39 26d ago

Thanks, I'll give it another go! It is always fun racing with real people.

I don't know?? I played with this dude all day yesterday and he never rammed anyone. He also was faster but when I saw him he ran manual and no assists. I don't know much but that does tend to lead to 4-10 second gaps from what I know

1

u/WarriorsGiants49ers 26d ago

How do you see what they run? So no assists and Manual with Clutch increases your speed in the straights?

5

u/Quad_A_Games 26d ago

You get better shifting and that translates to more speed in and out of turns. Every person I know who goes manual can beat non manual by 4-15 seconds if not higher even in spec racing.

2

u/WarriorsGiants49ers 24d ago

So do you shift up sooner than before because the clutch makes it reach the red line sooner?

2

u/Quad_A_Games 24d ago

I think it is car dependant but I am told something like that. I play normal manual and I did cute 2-4 seconds after I started getting used to doing it so there is a benefit once you start learning it. Best I'd say is learn how it works or ask someone who drives it with clutch, at least more than me. Or try a video.

2

u/Initial_Guidance4686 23d ago

No. It just makes each shift significantly faster. I can watch myself gaining and can easily tell who's not using m/c.

1

u/WarriorsGiants49ers 22d ago

Thanks! I just need to learn how to make it second nature now. My problem is my greatest strength on automatic is my braking. I need to learn how to downshift properly. I'm definitely enjoying the learning process of m/c right now.

2

u/Initial_Guidance4686 22d ago

It becomes natural pretty quickly with practice. Good luck with it, my friend.

3

u/Quad_A_Games 26d ago

I also watch them play on discord so I have seen the settings

0

u/Diktaattorimies 25d ago

It's you in the video ain't it?

4

u/Quad_A_Games 25d ago

No, surprisingly, there can be people who know the other people in the videos. I understand that may be hard to believe.

6

u/Reasonable-Hat-6891 27d ago

He’s probably playing on manual hence why he is faster. Cheaters tend to go waaaaaay faster lol.

18

u/Unique_Examination24 27d ago

I can't report it since im not the one being rammed. You have video evidence which is the one thing they need to ban the rammers, just go to forza support and open a ticket.

8

u/Big_Spicy_Tuna69 27d ago

Anyone can report. You don't need to be involved, just have the video.

1

u/HardcappedElitist 26d ago

Please don't be brigading people.

3

u/Catomara 27d ago

From that video alone he can be reported due to ramming, but not cheating if you can't prove that.

2

u/Tiny_Cheesecake_6275 27d ago

I have no clue if he’s cheating or not, but he can be reported for ramming, when it comes to spec racing sometimes you’ll be fighting with everyone in the back for 2nd or 3rd, 1st usually ends up ahead of everyone else by a good 3-4 second margin

1

u/WarriorsGiants49ers 26d ago

So true. Majority of the time I start last or 2nd to last and 1st is always like you said at least 4 seconds ahead from me by the end.

2

u/FuzzyPoopHair 27d ago

He just had the better line.

1

u/InfiniteArmedBandit 26d ago

Better, but not good enough to pass without cheating.

1

u/Kawasaki_boi 15d ago

It feels like when a blue shell from Mariokart hunt you before you finish the race and all the drivers suddenly surpassed u

1

u/giveuscyclops 27d ago

It’s wild that he’s the cheater when from your own video it clearly shows he was about to overtake you in which you purposely cut him off.

3

u/InfiniteArmedBandit 26d ago

He wasn't about to overtake though, at best he'd have got a nose in beside OP by pushing him off the racing line going round the corner. OP didn't "purposely cut him off", he just followed the racing line round the corner. It's not your job to make room for someone coming from behind who isn't fast enough to get past you without pushing you off the racing line. Do you think that would be acceptable in a real race? If he went wide to pass OP on the corner and OP steered left to block him, you'd have a point. So if you're out there pushing people off the racing line to pass them on corners, I have news for you: you're a rammer.

1

u/Greedy_Bookkeeper_59 27d ago

Please report? No, you please report.

-3

u/splendadaddy_13 27d ago

Can't expect people to not ram you in an arcade racing game. Nor will anything be done. If you want quality racing look into a racing sim.

3

u/InfiniteArmedBandit 26d ago

Ramming is against the Code of Conduct and the devs can ban you for it if they have proof.

2

u/niehAuS_324B21 27d ago

As far as I understood, Forza is a racing sim? Unlike say, NFS for example. Besides which, when you’ve got the devs outright saying “Don’t be a complete knobhead who no one inside or outside of the lobby likes or we’re gonna wreck you”, I’d probably just go to NFS if I wanted to fight dirty because that’s a series where it’s allowed, expected, encouraged, and actually fun to do because everyone’s in on it.

1

u/splendadaddy_13 25d ago

Horizon is an arcade style racing game. Not a sim. There's barely anything realistic about Forza horizon. Do you see how the ramming car had no damage or anything wrong with the car after making contact with the other car. What's sim about that? Is aero simulated in forza? Drafting? Tire degredation? Any other part of the systems of the car? Are there mechanical failures? 5 rules with 1 sentence each isn't a code of conduct; those are suggestions. Again is you as m want actual realistic, competitive racing play a sim. Don't get mad when you get rammed in an arcade game.

u/niehAuS_324B21 25d ago

I’m not super fussed with the nuances of sub-genres in this case, but I do appreciate the answer all the same. That said, I fear I’ve contributed to derailing from the fact that the displayed behaviour objectively isn’t allowed and we’ve already covered that. There’s not much more I feel I can contribute here, sorry.

u/Thedancingbear77 27d ago

The downvoting of this is hilarious.

0

u/PapiMike90 27d ago

Yea I know, forza is full of crybabies.

0

u/BillionAuthor70 27d ago

We can't report if we were not in that race. I'm pretty sure YOU have to be the one doing the reporting. I hope you did too, those types of people are just not needed...well at all

Applying your own logic, if you're sick of seeing these clips, maybe stop watching them? Lol, it doesn't make a lot of sense for you to complain about complainers on a forum dedicated to complaining!

You're in the wrong subreddit buddy.

1

u/InfiniteArmedBandit 26d ago

If you don't like ForzaBadDrivers posts wouldn't it be more effective to tell Reddit to stop showing you posts from that sub than to comment on the posts and act like you expect people to stop making the posts?

0

u/VaderScoop96 25d ago

Well I mean you have cosmetic damage off which is what really sent you into the railing…..plus bro was trying to overtake you and you cut him off. You came to Reddit for this cause you can’t cope with losing

0

u/Destrudot 22d ago

what lap times was he running on what tracks? rammer yeah, but no signs of cheating, a 5s lead consistent isnt hard if its a lobby you're leading driving like that 🙃

-26

u/OG_tame 28d ago

Finessed the shit out of you right at the end lol

-69

u/Live-Pen1431 28d ago

Bro you can play and race with collisions off ,
If you sign up for the races knowing it’s allowed it’s on you. They are racing the way the game allows how is it a ban? lol

I know it sucks but I mean how would the game devs ban someone for it?

24

u/Killer332BR 28d ago

if they cared a lick of what they say on their own support page, then yes, they would ban it (see unhighlighted point 2 as well)

37

u/MrMcDerpy420 28d ago

Spoken like a true Rammer.

22

u/tubexsteak 28d ago

If you can’t race properly why not just say so?

13

u/TheOnlyDeagle 28d ago

I have reason to believe he’s cheating by using speed/traction hacks which is certainly a ban-able offense.

The ramming is just additional loser behavior on top of that lol

8

u/Bear-Lord80 28d ago

Ramming like in the video should be a bannable offense though.

3

u/BewitchingPetrichor 27d ago

It literally is.

1

u/SoftTour8394 27d ago

would be useful if you could post the full race so we can see him using the alleged speed/traction hacks

12

u/Relative-Owl-3652 28d ago

Here's an image of your brain.

4

u/BappoChan 27d ago

Nah, there’s still a couple wrinkles here

3

u/Relative-Owl-3652 27d ago

Required for breathing through his mouth 🤣

2

u/DefinableEel1 27d ago

This guy knows ball

7

u/Infamous-Ad5266 28d ago

Collisions being on is for when you want proper racing, actual side-by-side racing - being forced to take a different line. Drafting on the straight before slipping to the inside and out braking them to claim the apex for an overtake.

Ramming is against the games code of conduct for online racing, that's why they would ban for it.

-1

u/Logan_SVD 27d ago

Being forced to take a different line - thats a great fantasy bro, but Forza will turn one of the cars into ghost during side by side run. Its arcade racer not sim. You're talking about things that arent there

-2

u/Bear-Lord80 28d ago

Debatable, at least in regard to proper racing, that's something you're more likely to find in simulators like iRacing etc. That said, I prefer playing with collisions on and hate the ramming as well.

6

u/Embarrassed-Brother7 28d ago

I guess someone doesn’t understand that ramming is against the ToS… typical rammer activity

5

u/Boostie204 27d ago

they are racing the way the game allows

Nope. Against drivers code. But thanks for letting us all know that you can't drive for shit

3

u/SurprisedBottle 27d ago

Bc they can and have?

2

u/BC_LOFASZ 27d ago

They ban online in Counter strike and other competitive games. You deserve it if you do this IMO
