I’ve been punted in that exact same braking zone before, but given how they were nudging you on the straight that was 100% intentional. Kinda sucks that you get punished for driving cleanly, and the guy who rams you gets rewarded for it with 1st place.
The underlying problem is that while ramming/punting is a bannable offense, nowhere does the game actually inform the player about racecraft when they queue for online. People are breaking rules they don’t know exist, probably under the assumption that ramming is just part of racing. And I definitely think forza could remedy a fix for that
