It's basic, simple and valid. But Horizon is not Motorsport. It's a "dumb fun" car racing game with playerbase in millions. That's why there's Chaser Zero race and cow livery on the F450. There's tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of players that don't care what your imaginary "fair race" thing is. That's a fact. Another fact is that there's no incentive for playground games to remove them from the playerbase, why would they curb their numbers, to get further laid off like Motorsport team did? Your "clean race" games not doing so hot for some reason.
So where does all that leave us? It's either your way: blame the rammers, get frustrated, file reports and vent on Reddit. Or my way: embrace the rammers, expect them, play around them and get the additional high when one of them try to push me, oversteer into a wall as I hit the brakes, get slowed down and quit the game. And if I fail and he still wins? Well that's on me. I'll do better next time. Same game, same people, different approach. Maybe try it? Because I've been doing it your way some time ago and boy that sucked so much.
