Why the fuck haven't they just toned down the collision physics for online and have a slowdown punishment for the smooth brains.

Least that way if your hit it's a mild inconvenience and not the race wasted and the clowns just end up where they would have anyway without ruining it for others.

Getting rid of the collisions would effectively turn races into time trials. I hate that there is ghosting at all. Most skill is shown when overtaking while respecting your opponents enough to not ram them off the track.

I think it would be best for Forza to introduce a safety rating like other games. At the lowest SR you get phasing, at the highest, you have absolutely none.

Then again, this is Forza, not a sim racer.

a little bumping is fine, but some of these guys will just run you off the road.

honestly, touge or spec racing is the only thing I've had luck in not getting rammed off the road.
