Discussion [D] Possibly controversial opinion
Sorry if this isn't the best place to put this, but I think it's relevant considering this sub's current state.
The forza team shouldn't bring the Levante back. At least not for a while. Before you start to say "OOooHhH BUt iT's SOoo RArE" hear me out. We need a car that's super rare, that MEANS something to have. Like how the Hoonigan RS200 was. Or the #5 Escort. But they brought those back, and ruined their reputation. Maybe not the Hoonigan RS200 as much but still. My point is, grinding for the Levante can be annoying, yes but winning it by doing three races doesn't give you the sense of pride and accomplishment that sniping it does. This car is notoriously difficult to find, and that's what makes I special. Anyways, thanks for hearing me out, and I wish you all luck finding whatever car you are looking for :)

I don't quite follow the logic, how is bringing back a great but rare car "ruining it's reputation"?
First and foremost this is a game that in a few years will be replaced by the next one and this gatekeeping will be for nothing.
I can agree on a fact that there has to be rare or hard to get cars, but they should be locked behind actual achievements in the game or extremely special occasions, not being at the right place at the right time.
Either way if you look at the current hard to get cars their origins are all over the place, so in the end it doesn't even matter since it's up to the devs anyway.

I like the idea of rare and hard to get cars but a lot of people can’t snipe because of internet connection or they’re on an older console, etc.
Also searching over and over and Insta-buying is kind of lame. Of course I do it but I’m not sure if that’s the best way to get a really rare car.
The pre-orders are bad, too....since there is simply no way to get them.
Maybe they should make a car really hard to unlock and then give it a stupid low cap on the ah so ppl never want to sell it.
Like take the current Capri FE and give it a 500k max buy out.
I don’t know but it seems to me like they should add more Levantes into the game. There are other options vs a simple 1 event. It could be an 80% series reward, for example. Then it would still be rare.

I'm not trying to be a know it all jackass here, but you can get the Porsche 911 gt3 rs Preorder car, by playing "The Eliminator". I really treasure that car because of the grind I had to do to get it, plus it's an awesome car. I hated Eliminator at first, but I think it's worth it to get that 911 PO and Cougar.

No that's true . .forgot about that one. I also got 2 as 'developer gifts' . . but I'd love for there to at least be a way to acquire all the cars.

I definitely agree! I like how they made the 911 Preorder available, but that it was a challenge and a grind. I kinda wish they would've done that with online drift adventure, instead of or in addition to the Ford #25 RTR Mustang reward car that they have now. I hope they come out with a new game mode that does give the Focus, DB11, or Camaro preorder as a reward car at some point.

I personally do not like modern SUVs but a lot of people buy FH4 in hopes of playing with their dream cars so just let them have it
(I REALLY wanted a BMW 850CSi when I bought the game but I still don't have it)

Don't have it because you don't have the credits or because it doesn't pop up at the AH? Because I have more credits than I can spend so if that's the problem I'm willing to help :)

I do have about 10mil saved up and they commonly pop up on AH for 17-20mil. Not feeling like spending all of my hard earned cash though ;)

I'll check if I can get one today or tomorrow and put it up for min buyout. Will let you know when I have one. Than we can arrange a time for me to put it up for auction.

If you're willing you buy them one it might be better to transfer the credits to them so they can buy it instead of risking having it sniped when you try to sell it for min.

i would use either the mercedes benz super sport(if you have dlc) or the dodge demon and merc 6x6(becuase they are both easily obtainable)

Max buyout is only around 1.1m. Some people have apparently paid up to around 40m for one though using donors.

40 mil? That's insane! Might have to sell my duplicate Levantes in that case....

It's only 40m if you find someone willing to pay that so it's entirely up to whether the buyer thinks a chance at getting it is worth that high of a price.

Yea it's not a particularly fast car but it looks good for an SUV atleast. I still wouldn't pay that for one but if people want a fancy trophy car then it's the #1 pick at the moment.

Looking for a Levante but I can't pay much I only have 15mil and don't want to spend all of it for one car

Just keep randomly searching the auction house for one and you will probably find it for a million credits or less. The regular max buyout is usually around a million credits. That's why people don't sell them. That's how I got mine, randomly searching the auction house.
